Some fabulous finds Christopher especially the England Commonwealth, Magna Carta and GFOL 😊.
Chris. I also do keep any over face value coins in my collection. Those which are common go back to the bank.

I really like your Holy Toledo remark. And as ever, when the Commonwealth Games and Magna Carta coins turned up were as likeable as ever. And while looking through my £2 coin collection today, I checked the 2 Commonwealth coins I had. The England one I got in change. The other I got from a seller at a market. Its the Wales one. Also, I collected the Beatrix Potter coins for my Great Niece as she loves the books. I hope she likes coins as much as I do. Regards 😉

Well done dude any commonwealth is a great find! With just 1 bag available last week I found a Scotland, found all of them except NI yet I've never found a Magna Carta, KJB, Mary Rose or Shakespeare's tragedies in the wild.

Hi, great video. I found two 2016 2 pound coins - The First World War 1914-1918. One the edge inscription For King and Country...they are reversed (one is inlined with the Queen head position and the second one is inlined with the other side of the coin). Is one of the two and error and therefore valuable?
I did a Isle of Man £2 hunt last week and found... diddly! but to cheer myself up I had a look at my 5 Tosha The Cat coins that I found years ago.
Are you from the IOM? If so what exactly is the "default" £2 coin there? Ie the technologies of IOM
@@bringbackthefruits3281 Hi, yes I live in the IOM and to answer your question, we do have normal circulated £2 coins, from 1997 - 1999 it was 2 rally cars (only 1998 went into circulation but I've found a couple of 1999) 2000 - 2003 was Thorwalds Cross, 2004 - 2016 was Round Tower Peel Castle and 2017 - present is Tower of Refuge, there has also been 11 commemorative £2 coins in circulation since 2011.

I know the Toshi cat are super rare and see a lot of tower of refuge and Hunt The Wren for sale but I've never found one in England. Thanks for the info 😊
