- Hello Guys and Today I'm going to show you the comparison between the AMD Athlon 3000G and the AMD Ryzen 3-3200G! The AMD Athlon 3000G and the AMD Ryzen 3-3200G are two budget APUs from AMD that offer good CPU performance as well as good enough integrated GPUs for light to medium gaming. These two CPUs are designed to have really great value and are ways that you can save on a dedicated GPU if you are building a PC on a tight budget. The AMD Athlon is the cheaper CPU out of the two at a really low price of $50 in it's MSRP but usually you'll find it right now for $70-$80 in most places. The Ryzen 3-3200G is slightly more expensive at an MSRP of around $100-120 but it's price right now is more inflated at around $170-$180 but still both come in at a low price. The Athlon comes with the Radeon Vega 3 Graphics and the Ryzen 3 comes with the Vega 8 graphics and this is a video to compare the performance of these two CPUs in these integrated graphics.

I wonder why AMD is not making everything clear about the 3000G. Apparently there seem to be 2 versions of Athlon 3000G. One is a Zen and another is a Zen+ CPU. The problem is that 3000G is mentioned in the Microsoft list as CPU compatible with windows 11. Unfortunately they have failed to mention that the Zen version is not compatible with windows 11 and only the Zen+ is compatible. How can Microsoft make such a blooper? Can't they clearly mention that only the 3000G Zen+ version is compatible with Windows 11.
Damn didn't know that. Glad I steered clear of it now.

If you are planning on saving up on a dedicated graphics card for later or are not going to do really intensive gaming, the Athlon-3000G is great. Add an RTX1030 video later on and you get better stuff than the Ryzen 5 5600G's Vega-8 graphics for less. The same for the Ryzen 5 3400G's Vega-11. In fact I came to watch this video to decide between the Athlon 3000G, and Ryzen 5 5600G and I made up my mind responding to you, Athlon it is.

@@AmanVerma-wz5kt jo budget ko suit kare if work is graphic centric go for ryzen 5 2200 worst case ryzen 3 and any other cpu is a no no but if no graphics work is there ie powepoint excel etc and budget is very tight then go for pentium gold or core 2 duo (very tight budget)
