Monade and The Institute of Urban and Landscape Studies (ISUP) at the Academy of Architecture, Mendrisio will celebrate the first English edition of “Imagining the Evident” with a conversation with Álvaro Siza, Kenneth Frampton, Jonathan Sergison, João Gomes da Silva and Daniela Sá. “Imagining the Evident” texts by the architect Álvaro Siza on his own work and process. Describing some of his projects, references and struggles, this book offers a significant contribution to the understanding of Álvaro Siza’s unique and highly influential approach to architecture, urbanism and the making of landscapes.
