I made that ride 50 years ago on a Honda Trail 90. Started from Jackson Meadow Reservoir. One big adventure day. You didn't climb the fire watch tower? The view is magnificent. Can see mount Diablo on a clear day.

HELL YES dude. Awesome riding. What advice would you give to bigger bikes for this section (Tiger 900 here)?
Put good tires on and take wide lines on switchbacks on top. And have lots of fun!!!
Awesome !, that's decided I'm bringing my 450 not my Africa twin on this ride :-)
This is the only section 450 that would shine. Everything else is very easy and mellow!
