@petermport yes you can get a diagonal lay no problem at all, and as the cocoon is not load bearing at all it does not affect the lay. This is still my go to winter hammock setup after all these years 👍 atb Paul 🙏 🏕🏕🏕😁
Cheers for the timely reply, I am only 5'10 but im a broad lad, I have a onewind 11ft and a carinthia defence 4 sleeping bag which will do for quite a while but not sure in the colder winter months@ACumbrianladoutdoors
The cocoon looks awesome. I got a Softie 6 sleepingbag and do you think i could sleep in that cocoon and the Softie 6 inside the cocoon down to freezing or do i need something warmer?
The Cocoon is brilliant , the softie 6 has a comfort rating of 0 Celsius, so you could probably manage sub zero camps just, have a look at my recent vids where I've been using a heated gilet to heat my sleeping bag, it works very well, atb Paul 🙏🏕🏕🏕😁

The longer hammock will indeed give you a more comfortable diagonal lay, however I'm 6ft 3 and am very comfortable in this winter setup, I dare say it would fit a slightly longer hammock, but not by much 👍 atb Paul 🙏 🏕🏕🏕😁

I’d be tempted to sneak up on you daz n drag both zips to the foot end for a laugh and also revenge for when we were younger n you stuffed me in a sleeping bag and tied it shut with a juditsu belt before leaving the house to go to your friends

I'm hearing from people that you need an 11 foot hammock with a diagonal lay. Would this cocoon fit a longer hammock?
