The CGI is unfinished on this so so please stop whining and saying it looks bad lmao
It's literally written Temp VFX.
Aaron
Jean-Luc Rene Soto-Pintor look at this dude, he says all shows are shit except for Smallville 🤣 all episodes ended with Clark pushing people against a wall(yes it was literally that repetitive). The show was still fun for the fans, but going all toxic against all the shows except for another one that was not any better is just hilarious 🤦🏻♂️🤣😆

Tyler's so good as Clark Kent, lot of humility in his portrayal. His Superman show is gonna be a breakout hit when it airs.
I think so too!
I hope so. The pilot script was pretty solid, hopefully the show keeps that quality going for all of its episodes.
Hopefully can undo the large amounts of trash moves the CW did to this version of Superman.

lmao why is this so true
Or those terrible filler scenes with cardboard cutout side characters
Yup😂
I don't know if I should be happy or upset because it shows they can write these characters properly but they choose not to.
This is easily the best Tyler Hoechlin Superman scene.
i am sure he will top it in his show.
Supergirl Video Clips I know he will. He just needs the right material like this scene.
Me too
This scene > The whole Superman scenes in the DCEU
I love probably every moment of him as Superman. But, yes. This is easily one of the best!
Don’t know why this was taken out this scene perfectly demonstrates and represents Superman in his knowledge and wisdom also his kindness and compassion when talking Oliver he’s teaching and mentoring Oliver through his own passed experience when having these new powers we need more of this in his show
Especially with his children.
Because, Oliver is a hero here.
@@timetraveller939 yeah I know but that doesn’t heroes can’t teach and mentor other heroes also Oliver is still getting used to having Barry’s powers and seeing as Barry can’t show him at the moment Superman is the next best choice
@@josephjohnson147 I'm saying that was the reason it was deleted
@@timetraveller939 so you’re saying they deliberately deleted a good scene that both shows a small inclination of Clark/Supermans character and his knowledge and wisdom also Oliver demonstrating humility, humbling himself and heeding to his words so that he can better understand and control his powers and better understand himself as a hero and what’s important to him.
This doesn’t mean that Superman is faster than the flash, it just means that he’s faster than Oliver so if he had raced against Barry, then he would lose.
Barry and Kara were equally fast in Elseworlds Part 3.
@@theanti-monitor6816 because plot, plus who said Barry wasn't going his fastest?
@@theanti-monitor6816 Equally? Are you dumb? Flash run a few times more than Kara around the Earth
My name's is Oliver Queen and I'm not the Fastest Man Alive
DC themselves confirmed that Flash was faster than superman a while ago so no use bringing it up anymore lol, I never understood why people though superman was faster but now there's solid proof that he in fact cannot run faster than the Faster man alive, Barry Allen, the Flash.
this really should have been in the crossover. Superman has been at the superhero gig way longer then Oliver, and this is the only time in the Arrowverse where we have seen Superman take a leadership role
Well not entirely. He's been the mentor figure passing on advice to Kara, and to J'onn, he gave his warning about how the powers of the government aren't to be completely trusted.

I wish Barry had his powers in this cause he would smoke Superman 😂
Not Tfue in the comics yes or maybe JWS’s version yes but this version is an emo stick figure slow poke so your entitled to your opinion but it’s like in the Arrowverse
Barry is Superman
Oliver is Batman
Kara is Obviously 🙄 Wonder Woman
And Batman And Superman already exists but the Green Arrow also the Flash Are supposed to be different
Not Tfue really because technically Clark had his powers for 39 years with training, control + practice so he has experience and was Born with his abilities, while Barry has only been doing this for 5 years and the only reason he’s faster is because he has the speed force to back him up so really it’s experience that counts NOT power
I say that because he has out ran a nuke watch comic book vs the world video on the flash calculated speed
Not Tfue oh ok 👍🏻 could you please send a link? Or the name of the video please?
This scene FEELS like Superman helping one of his friends, not unnecessary soap opera junk.

This was how Superman shouldve been in these Crossovers. CW did him dirty
For those wondering how such a good and important scene was cut. Stephen Amell said they always end up with a "final" cut that is almost 8 minutes too long. So, great scenes like this get cut.
I think this was cut because then it would have hurt Oliver queen’s character. Oliver has no reason to question the lesson, he taught Barry and Roy with this very lesson.
@@Tradetek1 It’s more than that. Oliver learning how to use powers is different from him learning how to fight. Besides this is a scene where he is portrayed in a somewhat decent light. Which is why I think it was removed. Because Oliver Queen was always the showrunners favorite how can we shit on him today target.
@@lorenzo49619 but he is complaining about training, he taught Barry the same exact lesson in their first crossover and he taught Roy to have self control with the mirakuru. I understand why Oliver is training and it makes perfect sense, my only problem is why is he complaining when he already knows the reason and has used the same exact reasoning to teaching Barry and Roy.
@@Tradetek1 I don’t know. Why does Oliver always let people like Diggle, Felicity, even Joe West treat him like shit?! Bad writing from people like Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle and Beth Schwartz. Like I said before Oliver was always their favorite how can we shit on him today target.
This shows Oliver's personality well..He won't admit your right and he's wrong but he will take advice when is wrong.
This should have been kept. Shows Superman’s humility in how he was raised and depicts how Oliver still has some growth to do in the upcoming episodes
I’m actually glad it was taken out. It makes no sense why Superman would be telling Oliver this about learning his powers. Idk if u watch arrow, but this is Oliver Queen, he literally taught a character name Roy the same exact thing Superman is, he was teaching Roy how to control his chemical superhuman strength emotions basically the same way here. And this is Oliver, who had to fight to survive and learn skills to survive, heck he even taught Barry basically the same way as here. It makes no sense why Oliver needs to learn this lesson, he already knows it and has taught this lesson few times. When Clark was saying how he developed super speed here it reminded me of Smallville when Clark is in Lionel's body he tells Martha he was playing tag with Jonathan and he started running really fast did anybody catch that ?
yes i thought that too
Yes i thought that
Lots of adaptations and comics have had that be how he unlocked his speed though.
Yeah I was wondering if anyone else did!
I totally did!
This has so much Smallville vibes... I can already see Jon and Martha standing there waiting for Clark to come to them. God if they actually had the Smallville crew come back I would cry

Peak Superman right here
Clark probably learned how to control ALL or most of his abilities on that farm! And he's the #1.
Superman will always be my favorite. Although the CW kind of shit on his character a little.
It's better now in his own show
@patrick allen I said Tyler Hoechlin's Superman was better on his own show, Superman and Lois, than he was in any of his other appearance in the current Arrowverse (Supergirl, Arrow, Flash)
Smallville is a separate thing. It has its own problems but does a good job showing Clark growing up
Who would have every predicted that we would see Superman meeting the Arrowverse Green Arrow on screen. This is incredible!
And scenes like this are why Tyler is so good as both Superman and Clark.
The real Barry would've loved this.
CW couldn't tolerate to show Superman in such good light as a character so they removed this beautiful scene. All Tyler's Superman is supposed to do is think about his family n constantly tell his cousin how she is better than him. He does it to an extent that is annoying .
Agrees

Jordan Curry actually in Smallville it was tag, not catch. And he wound up in Palmer’s field.
@@Artisan1979 And these stories have been done quite a few times.
Clark shouldn’t have had to have this conversation with Oliver because as early as Flash season one, Oliver was the one preaching to Barry about understanding and honing his abilities rather than just blindly using them.
With Olivers discipline he should know he needs to practice but because he thinks or thought people with powers dont need to train it changed his philosophy on that.
I like how the man of steel put Oliver in check so easily
They might've deleted it because the conversation seems out of character for Oliver. Normally, Barry's the one whining and Oliver's the one emphasizing how important practice & control is. Whoever wrote it probably thought it would be funny to have the shoe on the other foot, so to speak... but it just doesn't fit the character.
Thank you!! Finally someone with an actual sensible reply/w understanding of the characters.
Thank you, I’ve been saying the exact same thing. This made no sense why Oliver was complaining about this, he already knows the lesson why would he question it?
Yeah but don’t forget Barry and Oliver were swapped bodies, they both carried few of each other’s traits even though they knew they were swapped, like how Barry knew some combat skills right off the bat, my point is they are both their own selves and they know that their reality was altered, Barry knows that he is supposed to be the flash but to everyone else and within that reality he was Oliver Queen and Oliver Queen was Barry Allen, hence why you see Oliver being a little more light-hearted during some scenes and Barry was a little more serious. Ultimately they still relatively acted like their actual identities however some things were carried over.
damn its weird to see someone else teaching oliver queen
I wish Oliver and Clark would’ve had more interaction! This is wholesome!
Easily more depth than henry cavill's superman. Which is not to hate of Henry it's all attributed to bad writing

0:39 I felt so much of nostalgia over here, this story about his childhood, I don't know if it was in the original comic, but I've definitely heard it in the Smalville, which I think it exactly refers to
Barry wishes he was doing this instead lol
Tyler isn't a bad Superman at all, he just gets the shaft JUST like Henry but in a different way:
He has to suck to make Supergirl look great. It makes him feel very UN-Superman. This scene was deleted when it really shouldn't have been. We needed more scenes like this to show Tyler being the wise, and extremely powerful Man of Steel even without the suit.
I agree, looking at Crisis makes that really obvious. I'm glad he's getting his own show, let's hope they allow him to have more moments like this.
He was also in her show. He's not a glory hog when hanging with other heroes. He gives people space to work their thing cause he's humble. Best part of that was when he was working with the JL in the DCAU and training with them.
@@xanderm6090 abusing a character's fundamental traits to suit your story =/= respect for the source material. Justice League Unlimited (once they got past Season 1 when it was still just called Justice League) DID eventually recognize Superman's power and respect he deserves and instead of dumbing him down to suit the League's needs, the writers raised the League UP to him. You cannot build new icons by tearing down old ones. If you wanted Supergirl to be worthy of Superman, you show her value by matching him. You DO NOT down or turn Superman into a jobber.
