Last year I took health insurance of ₹35000 for my 65 years old mother from care health insurance. I was told there are no capping. health insurance policy was going for more than 2 years. So for cataract operation care health insurance provided only 60k out of 95k. I asked them, based on which terms and conditions they deducted my amount. They said "we have settled your claim based on our policy but never told me those policy terms". I complaint on GRO, exactly same response. Then I complaint on IRDAI, but same reply. And no action was taken against them. There's no regulations on them so they deduct the amount without any reasons. I only want to know on what bases they deducted my amount because I read the whole policy and there were no T&C for that. I don't know what to do now.
