Yoshi Desert gives some of the most fun races and is a great recreation of the GBA track, that's why it's there.

If Water Island was number 3 and Delfino Island was number 4, what changed to make Delfino Island place higher than Water Island?
I would assume they relooked at the tracks and realized water island looks so bad

Wow. 9 years later. I love how Troy mentions Delfino Island being better if there was a drawbridge, yet after all these years, they still have yet to add one. I watched this video soon after release in 2013 at 7 years old. Being over 9 years, returning and seeing these old tracks brings back tons of memories. Also paying attention to Troy's amazing commentary, *as always*, makes me smile. Love ya Troy!

Yeah BC4 and MC4 might both be in since they've used all the others in previous Mario Kart retro tracks

good question, it's because we are not using any tracks that are in MrBean's current CTGP pack unless they are major updates like Luigi's Mansion or Cheep Cheep Beach. :P

You'll be happy to know that the speed mod is perfect for the track, just played 4gp's straight of it. The shortcuts work much better and aren't as over powered (y)

I don't think the pillar is but that one isn't a problem. The easy respawn one has been patched as of recently
this video is really old, but I love Bossfight's music so much. Troy has a good taste in music.
i realy do love underrated things apearently because desert hills is one of my favourite tracks
I've never played any custom tracks but Rush City Run looks really great.
@TWD98 Did you know that at 3:13, you can more easily make that shroomless by wheelying instead of tricking. It gives you much more air than tricking that you can do it on 100cc with a non-speed bonus character on Mach Bike.
Personally, I HATE kalamari desert. It's design is good, but the thing I hate? That god damn train. It slows down the race so much and it completely ruins the pace. What type of obstacle forces you to stop???
Also, I'm apparently the only person who tolerates Desert Hills.

The only reason why i like Desert Hills is because its really fun to snake on it. I overlapped a lot of CPU's. Kalimari Desert is the worst track ever
I love that track (especially the remake)
I appreciate Kalimari Desert for how unique it is (and being one of the only wild-west tracks in the entire series). Stopping for a train does seem really contradictory to the overall gameplay, but trying to outrun it can be exhilarating, and you don't have to wait long anyway. Plus the music's cool (now that I think about it, that tunnel shortcut is also cool).
Desert Hills is fine enough. It's cool to have a track based on a world from a SMB game, and the hills at the end add quite a bit of tech to the racing. But it's mostly bland and not particularly memorable, and ditto for the music.
Maybe, a 1.2 speed mod like SNES MC2, I'll Bring it up with Cam and Sword later and we'll test it out for our pack. :o

What I think will be in the top 10: Dreamworld Cloudway, Volcanic Skyway 4, Lunar Spaceway, GCN Yoshi Circuit, Heart of China, Sunset Ridge, Halogen Highway, District 65, Strobenz Desert, and of course, Grumble Volcano!

I actually like that Star City doesn't have a respawn point there because it keeps the authenticity of DKR Star City since if you fell off in DKR you didn't respawn.

also, troy, can you revise the retro courses in camtomtroy, cause there are no n64 or double dash course, and there are really good courses in those games
It's a kanji. Together, the first word says hisashiburi (久しぶり). It sort of means, "It's been a while."

Righto Troy, you NEED to know how to take that SC corner on GCN Bowser's Castle.
You lead into it with a spindrift i.e spindrift from the top section and then land in the bottom section and... Booyah, bob's your uncle :)

Star City probably was kind of the Rainbow Road of DKR

Kirio raceway was in part 3
I think it's safe to say that GBA shy guy beach is the most hated MKW track of all time
and Troy, I don't think the fade away youtube glitch is a glitch, I think it's a geek week thing, cause it looks "geeky" lol
Most of them aren't in CTGP revolution,they are in cam tom and troys pack
I don't think Lava Road's in for some reason, and Sunset Ridge is probable, but I'm not sure between GCN Yoshi Circuit and Strobenz Desert.
