Not sure when you think the trees are meant to blossom but they have blossomed and blown away already in Scotland. It happens in March in Scotland.

Beautiful view from Lidl car park. Cortina was lovely but obviously very expensive. Enjoy Venice. Fabulous city but very busy. Definitely visit the Rialto bridge. Take care and enjoy xx

I lived in Greece for six years and they used to tell me off for getting rid of my coat too early! They think you get sick if you go without a coat before May in those countries! Lol

We've just returned from Segovia in Spain and it was the same we walked round in t shirts and locals all wrapped in thick coats but temp' was 15-19 degrees, Lisa you would LOVE Segovia very much like where you are now ,but for it's history so much better, it's an Hr n half North of Madrid

I had a Vespa & swapped it for a Fiat & I slept in the Fiat when I was homeless it was uncomfortable and freezing the head gasket went on the Fiat when I was out driving in it with my mates. We thought it was foggy but it was the steam coming from tge engine or radiator. I like lasagne and bolognaise and deep fried pizza crunch from the chippy🎉

Have visited Italy many times, and something I learnt off one of the locals on one of my trips is that it’s perfectly acceptable to nip into any bar and use the toilet, due to the lack of public toilets.
There may be a tip bowl and someone actually manning it giving out pieces of toilet paper, but at least you’d be able to relieve yourselves! Haha

Of course Easter is celebrated on the continent because they are roman catholic and much more religious than UK. When Easter is finished they will find something else to decorate the windows with. I think its lovely. We have shop windows in UK that have same stuff in them for years, it would be lovely if they took the care that they do in the continental shops. Hope the snow stays on sides of roads.
