A few years after its release, it was switched from domestic manufacturing to Thai manufacturing and became a long-selling model like the 501B Fantasia. However, due to the 2011 flood in Thailand, the Seiko clock factory was also flooded, and many clock molds including this model were lost. Since then, it has not been additionally produced and is currently discontinued.
