- The Glass House, located in the inner city Sydney suburb of Paddington, an interior designer's dream home and the home of renowned designer Nina Maya of Nina Maya Interiors.
Nina Maya, from within the comfort of her own dream home, explains the unique design approach she adopted to transform a dilapidated traditional Sydney town house into a modern contemporary home that was designed for refined living.
Nina takes us on a guided house tour though each interior space within her incredible home, explaining every defining architectural and interior element of her award winning design, from the unique use of a timber ceiling to the eye-catching staircase and water feature that work in tandem to create a tranquil environment within her own dream home.
One of the key aspects behind Maya’s design was the use of ZETR’s range of electrical accessories that compliment the interior elements with a minimal and refined aesthetic. The use of these electrical ZETR accessories perfectly integrate with the surrounding surface of the Glass House by Nina Maya to provide minimal impact on the specified finishes such as stone, timber and plaster.
Ultimately the Glass House is a narrative focused on the collaborative partnership of two of Sydney’s most innovative designers and how their partnership has created a home that sets a new standard of modern inner city living.

I just have 2 questions if there’s anyway you could spare the time: 1) How do you become a designer? College I assume Is important, but beyond that, is it boots on the ground applying at firms or should you find a mentor and apprentice. Both? 2) How much does something like this cost? Like a full super modern remodel like this one? I’ve been deeply drawn to this type of moody/awe inspiring architecture for as long as I can remember. Anyway, thank you so much for whatever info you have. I hope your interior projects are coming along well! 😌☕️🙏

Agreed, its so cold and "design"y ... and marble under the stove? That stove will NEVER be cooked on. Marble is already super porous and fragile. Not that the skinny lady is doing any cooking anyway ... lol

worthy follow up to Fisher Paykel but how does it integrate with the building trades? Electricians often find it difficult to center outlets in oversized industrial boxes. Beautiful featured project, particularly like the lavender and oak color palate

There is a little thin line between interior desing mall and interior design home and I feel sense of a mini mall in these house but no a home.
id love to buy ZETR products but ther arent available in Mexico :( or Amazon.

Everything is so dark and moody she kept saying it, yep… the house is very dark and definitely not happy place to look at it is very designed and definitely modern and minimalist yet I did not get the sense of serenity or my mood being uplifted by looking at various objects
