This is great drag racing. Reminds me when I raced back in 1980's, people would bring their ride uncork the headers and race. Raced at the Las Angeles county race way when life was good in CA.

Was there for this one, good times! Will be there on the 9th as well, hopefully driving my hotrod this time? Not racing, that'll be next year hopefully, bit just riding to the race in it will be good enough for me being its been sitting for 10yrs! But anyone who can make it out to the track should, and if you haven't heard Johnny Quicks hotrod in person, you don't know what you're missing!!! @ 3500lbs! Whew, a lot! The hard part there would be if you got enough power to make 3500lbs competitive you'd probably have a hard time hooking tbh! Same boat I'm in basically, maybe think about another class like hard tire or true street?
