This presentation will provide several strategies and tips for teaching students with emotional and behavioral EBD disabilities. Teaching students with behavior problems is one of the most difficult jobs for a classroom teacher. Some of the strategies include getting to know the students, developing a rapport, being flexible with students, using positive behavior interventions and rewards systems with token economy, wraparound service plans and much more. This video is part of an instructional playlist from teachings in education and Frank Avella. Other videos in the playlist cover topics such as Curriculum, Inquiry based learning, Classroom Management, Differentiated Instruction, and much more.

When do the rights of “normal” kids kick in when this ED student is beating everyone up in the class?
