"The new record by..." es un álbum de la banda irlandesa My bloody valentine realizado en setiembre de 1986, grabado en Alaska Estudios (Londres) y lanzada por el sello Kaleidoscope Sound.
Este álbum marcaría fuertemente el sonido de la banda debido a que fueron influenciados con la aparición del famoso Cassette "C86" de la revista musical MME que reflejaba la escena indie que se vivía se por ese entonces.
Este sonido quedaría marcado a través de toda su discografía teniendo su cenit en Loveless (1991) además de que este sería el primer trabajo de David Conway en la onda "indie" aunque no permanecerá por mucho tiempo siendo su último trabajo con la banda el single "Sunny Sundae Smile" que apareció el año siguiente

It is an album by the Irish band My Bloody Valentine made in September 1986, recorded at Alaska Studios (London) and released by the Kaleidoscope Sound label.
This album would strongly mark the sound of the band because they were influenced with the appearance of the famous Cassette "C86" of the music magazine MME that reflected the indie scene that was lived at that time.
This sound would be marked throughout his discography having his zenith in Loveless (1991) in addition to this would be the first work of David Conway on the "indie" wave although it will not remain for a long time being his last work with the band the single "Sunny Sundae Smile" that appeared the following year

OMG! I COULDNT FIND THIS ONE FOR LIKE A DING DANG YEAR AND HERE IT IS AGAIN! YAY! Feels like how I felt when I heard it for the first time :') Love this one so much. Also this first track makes me feel like it would be cute in a horror slasher scene for some reason. Is that fucked up?
