- In this video knife maker Walter Sorrells takes a break from making sharp pointy things and builds a cowbell from scratch. Okay, so cowbells are not exactly the world's most important musical instrument. But it's a pretty fun project. And when you're done, you can make an amazing amount of noise. Which your neighbors will love.

for the life of me I could not figure out why such a large hanger. I forgot about using it on a drum set. is there anything else you can do we need to know about.

But yes everything that Alec does is "Damascus Steel"* but also I picked that point because Alec also sort of blunders into projects.
Oh and the stone thing he started when he loved to the US. :)

@@chartle1 I was pointing out that Damascus steel is a special steel that comes from Damascus. He makes forge welded pattern steel. I am a knife maker.
With an exception to that I like his stuff.
you should watch rdavidr if your into building drum stuff
There's really no excuse for you to be as bad a welder as you are. Watch some videos from welding dot com. Make cursive letter e's and drag that molten pool of metal along the seam. It just takes some practice. I do thank you for bringing to mind a rock group from the '70s that lay dormant in my memory banks for 45 years.
