Hey i have a question, how can i get my instagram name on a new account ? I have no reels icon since one update so i want to make a new account with same name, so do i delete or deactivate account and make new account with same name or change name in old account and then make a new one ? how do i do it without the new account saying the username is taken ? i hope you understood my question!
Hi! Yes, you would have to delete the old account in order to free up the same name. Also, you will have to wait 30 days after deleting the account.
