Dove è finita questa ballerina così brava, che si muove con tanta leggerezza e sicurezza? Grazie, comunque, Egils, per esistere e allietare insieme alle tue partners i nostri momenti così ritirati e guastati dal Covid... Ciao dall'Italia! Giuliana

Great explanations/detailed instruction, but it seems that on the full demonstration (beginning of video) you are not in time. Your slow steps seem to be too quick, with the first quick being too soon. Am I mistaken - is it supposed to be like this?
Thanks Andrew for appreciating this video! About demonstration to music, first step starts on count 1 and finishes (feet passing) on 2. Second step is on 3 and finishes (feet passing) on &. Third step is on 4 and finishes (feet passing) on &. This is how it should be, but if for some reason is not exactly so on this video, then it is my mistake. Bear in mind that sometimes advanced dancers use delayed foot rythm in order to achieve more full body movement to music. But this is Basic for Beginners, therefore we must learn in way I described above. Hope it helps!
@@EgilsSmagris Thanks for the explanation, Egils, I will study it again and see if I can wrap my head around it! ;-)
Hi, congrats for the videos. I'm a musician and I also do not see the sync with the music in your intro... Or maybe I'm missing something? The slow quick quick slow do not fall on your steps... And I wonder why you stop on the second quick when you count slow quick quick... Usually from a logical point of view we stop on a beat, let's say first beat on tempo, that means on a "slow". Sequence should be "Slow (1, 2) quick (3) quick (4) slow (1...).
