I always loved the sprite work in this game
I honestly love that he wrote the program for a freaking calculator. The iPhone was out in 2007, there are less bulky and easier devices to use all around us. The fact that it's written in BASIC for a TI calculator just adds to that perfect kingdom hearts charm along with its loving community.

You're right, shadows are jerks in every KH game - I was playing 0.2 and one stopped me from blocking the following four attacks from a Darkside. I was mega pissed lol

I never watched a GBA CoM run but this was a pleasant surprise, it's cool the way every run in this game can pan out differently
I love how every single time the guy on the left side of the couch opens his mouth, the runner has some sort of correction or caveat to what he's saying. Pretty funny.

it was my first kh game ever .i played it like 3 times over. unfortunately i lost my copy of the game :(
It was a programing masterpiece imo. To be able to emulate the ps2 combat via the card system, was truly something. Didn't translate to the ps2 very well.
Should've remade it for the DS, (would've put Days's on the PsP most likely) or use the command deck for the remake version.
Wow, I just got the platinum trophy for this on PS4 last night (damn that Riku lvl 99 trophy)

Did You Know: The name of the cards Re:CoM calls "Gimmick Cards" is never listed in-game, but the North American manual does call them "Trick Cards".

Well, at least the 100 Acre Wood is far better in this version than re:COM... if you wanna get the damn platinum for that game, you have to complete all of the damn minigames with record scores! DA BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!! X(
Christian Groff use a sleight in the minigame if you want to kill all 70 bees.
My Goodness I lost so much to Marluxia 1 and 2 this run helped me a lot, now I’m playing through Riku’s Story. I’m a Newcomer to the Kingdom Hearts series.

I remember the first time i played this game. I was like 15 , i think, (im 31 now) and my pen pal in japan sent me a japanese cart for Christmas i still remember how japanese gba sora shouts "GOOFY!" And how japanese gba sora's "DONALD!" sounded more like "DONALDO!" LMAO

Floors 11 and 12 are also static (Twilight Town and Destiny Islands respectively). Just wanted to correct you there.

I have no idea if the gentleman on the left just works better with Ghost in Twitch Streams (Since he was on his Radiant Historia run too), but man, does he not work terribly well in live runs. Ghost was excellent however, as was Hobbs, especially for a run he isn't familiar with.
At least in the remastered one on ps4 if you break his attacked with a sleight he won’t block them

Most boring speedrun ever.. When you grind longer than you have gameplay.. You shouldnt speedrun that game.. Honestly..
Just skip the grind-heavy parts... He warns you beforehand
its better than having to speedrun a game based on rng that fails +75% of times

@@heavyrain5949 actually a lot of games.
An exemple of that, even if it's not "that bad here" is that game right here: if they don't get Blizzard as their first card, they reset.
Though some game allow for you to "beat" the rng, as in being able to adapt, while others are rightly punishing for having bad rng and forcing to reset.
Of course in marathon like RPGLM or GDQ you don't often see reset because they can't just keep reseting or the run would last forever xD.
A for what dadush complained about: it's true that rpg that rely heavily on their grinding to speedrun can be quite annoying, but it's actually okay here because there's lot of way to approach the grinding, but I can understand it's not fun to watch.
