Max weight wouldn't work unless everyone had the mod, and picked different vehicles, it'll only effect your screen. (You don't get bumped)
On the other hand, minimum weight would be quite interesting.

sinéad lee in Maple, it happens a decent amount because so many items are in play on that course due to the leaf piles so the game will default give you mushrooms
Platinum Runner in 200CC could be interesting!
Next episode, use any vehicle, you race with Sw0rd and whoever beats him the most between you two wins, though it's a bit boring. So to add to the challenge, Race 1, Troy is in Bon Bon (Sugarscoot), Nick is in Rapide (Zip Zip), Race 2, Troy is in Piranha Prowler, Nick is in Nanobike (Bit Bike), finally, Race 3, Troy is in Cheep Charger, Nick is in Aero Glider (Jetsetter). It's a rare glitch, I've only done it a few times. This glitch can only be done on Maple Treeway.
Because of the leaf piles that make bananas and mushrooms, you can get mushrooms in first
if you grab i believe around 10-12 different items in first, you can pull a mushroom
An impossible pull like that is typically an "emergency mushroom" - usually seen by players as a bug or a fail-safe - that only occurs online.
Here are some ways in which it can happen without cheats:
- After someone normally pulls 15 items in a single race, which is not the case here - it was Troy's 10th item. I don't remember the specifics, but apparently, pulls #16 and #18 and #20 (then any pull afterward) will always give you a mushroom. It tends to happen on rBC3 (GBA Bowser Castle 3) if someone cycles through (almost) every item box on the track without slowing down;
- _He_ tried to pull an item whose individual limit (yes, for every type of item other than mushrooms) hadn't been reached yet; but by the time it was negotiated with other players across the network, the limit WAS in fact reached, so he couldn't have the item!
Leaf piles on Maple Treeway have a high chance of dropping (spawning) banana skins, an item that is obtainable in 1st place, which can occasionally force an emergency mushroom up in 1st. Another classic example: if the players in 11th and 12th pull two of the same rental item (the shock or the bullet) at the same time, then one of them will walk home with a single mushroom in 12th. You hate to see it get yoinked out of you 😂
The reason he pulled a shroom in first is because there were too many items on the ground at the time. When there are too many items on the ground, first place is not allowed to pull any more shells, bananas, or fibs. This is why, many times, when troy was playing item rain, he would pull shrooms in first quite often. During this race, many bananas, shells, shrooms, and fibs were on the ground, mostly because of the leaf piles all around the track. This led to troy pulling a first place shroom
I have an idea for a Flounder Fest, so basically you and Nick are targeted by everyone else in the room and you see who comes out on top amongst the chaos

Hey troy love the platnum funkey lmao, i need help with ctgp, i have homebrew channel installed and ctgp in the right spots but when i boot it up through homebrew channel it just goes to a black screen and doesnt change, if you could provide any info on this then id be very much thankful.
Same thing is happening to me too.
Personally I found it to work better just doing the CTGP install from the tutorial he made rather than through homebrew

Have watched both perspectives of this set of races and without doubt, Troy had the best luck with events such as item pulls and shocks etc. Both players are of course very skillful but in the end it does boil down to who has the most luck in the races..

Mod a vehicle's offroad so it goes faster when not on the track? Platinum Dasher/Platinum Cruiser
This doesn't actually work because the offroad stat is clamped between 0 and 1, so you can only go up to 100% speed
