Buckle up, because there are a number of different parts to finding the Bird Key. It’s easily the toughest key to find in the game so far and a huge jump up in terms of working out how to get it. Although, in all fairness, a lot of it depends on whether or not you’ve visited the Dream Shrine by this stage. If not then you might well be stumped on where to go and what to do, so you can follow along with the video to see how to get through this section of the game.

Honestly this game is really hard to figure out without these walkthroughs I’d never be able to finish it.
They want you to wonder around for days until you figured something out.

First thing I had to look up in the game. Man it takes time but when you finally figure out what to do its satisfying.
Wow. I would've never figured this out on my own. Nothing within me said to go in town under the rooster, or to go hail Mamu.
This was really hard. I knew you needed the rooster to reach the key, but I didn't know how to revive him. I also knew there was a connection with Mamu, but I didn't know the ocarina was even an item in the game, and the whole time it was in that pesky dream shrine...
If it wasn't for this video, I probably would have never finished this game. Thank you for the walk through!
Exploring everything as soon as possible really comes back and bites me in the ass! Since I’ve already been down these stairs I dismiss them even though I don’t remember what was in them!
My first reaction when I saw the bird statue was to push it because of Link to the past

Thank you. I wish there was more warp points in this remaster. I'm not sure if they have the same amount as the original game because it's been quite a while but regardless for convenience I wish there were more warp points. There's just a lot of backtracking in this game in general being blocked off and very slowly being able to navigate around the map but even when you have all the items there's some spots it's just annoying to backtrack because you know where to go you just have to slog through some of it. Still one of my favorite Zelda games of all time.

Fun fact: Mamu in Italian is actually named Wart. Like Wart from Mario bros 2. They're completly aware that he's in the game and they don't care.

So the reason why most obstacles aren't by being told but by random encounter is because when the creator of loz created this game he based it off of the outdoor adventures as a child and just like he did he also wants everyone to explore and try everything in each title.

Imagine figuring this game out without the internet in the early 90s
Mostly friends at school could tell you what to do, if it was a popular game. Basically all the Zelda games were that way. I think Ocarina of Time was worse than this, I've only had to look up things 2 times with this, OoT I had to look up way more things. Having 2 different worlds compounded all the searching that you'd have to do if you were doing it alone.

The hint given for finding Mamu was unhelpful. They should have said where the signposts were in the game.

I think this game is great but sometimes it's ambiguous to the point of being annoying
I spent days trying to figure out what I’m suppose to do about the Flying Rooster statue. I did everything except pushing it forward. If the game hinted at “moving the statue” then it would’ve been fair. I’m upset that I had to search this up because I was this far into the game without a guide

That's what I'm wondering too. I thought I'd have to take it to the bird guy at the top of the mountains but apparently not cuz he didnt even comment on the rooster
Am I the only one who found the flying rooster on their own but couldn't find the cave where the Bird Key was? I felt so stupid when I found out I had never went in that cave...

Old Man Ulria points you in the direction if you ever stopped by his booth at this point in the game, telling you to go check out the statue.
Why do the path with the song is not here?
For some reason there's no stairs there
U have to follow the direction (arrows) on the signs, for example if they do this:

I;m not sure what I'm doing wrong. I got the song from Mamu (Wart), I'm standing right next to the rooster and playing it, and nothing is happening. The entrance is not opening.
Did you push the weathervane to get to the bones of the Flying Rooster like I have in the video?

You might need the power band upgrade in the Faces Dungeon to push the rooster, idk
@200 subs with no video challenge I tried pushing the bird upwards before I did the Faces dungeon and nothing happened, then I tried again with the power band upgrade from there and it worked. So Darth is correct.
Turns out you don’t need to push those boulders
