Emirates Boeing 777-200 takes off from Istanbul Atatürk Airport at a very busy hour.
My first try of capturing a takeoff with a tripod, and i don't like the results. However, i was able to catch some good scenes, i think. Enjoy!

I was 3 times at the flyinn and I have never seen a takeoff from RWY 17R , it looks so spectacular if they go airborne just in front of you !
I only have spotted takeoffs at the runways 35L and 35R and one landing on RWY05 but you cannot see the plane approaching to the runway. Because the buildings are blocking the sight , it actually pops out of nowhere and you just have to be fast :)
But LTBA is awesome ! Lots of heavies and great traffic .

I agree, and the heavies usually rotate towards the end of the RWY 17R, which is awesome. But my favorite spotting is when landings are directed to RWY 35L and takeoffs at RWY 05. And at the video "Turkish Airlines Fleet Parade" you can see that, where i was so lucky, that the traffic changed due to wind direction change, and although it was freezing cold, i spotted for hours. Was totally worth it considering i was in bed with cold in following a few days :) Cheers!
