I did some testing as well against this dormammu, and you can successfully prevent him from throwing sp3 by hitting his block quick enough. It’s a specific timing though, because if you dash too early your medium will whiff and ikr actually hit him, and if too late he’ll throw sp3. There is a sweet spot right in the middle though which is what Allison did here, where you can consistently get in openings before they can throw the sp3. One thing to note though is that against champs with quicker recovery time (like LoL Rhulk) they can get up and throw an sp3 before you’re able to do anything. That is not the case with most champs though.
I am a proud glazer of Shang Chi. Goat Chi will forever be no1 skill. Not even the mighty ronin or taskmaster can compare to goat chi's fisting capability. (i didn't know Shang was considered meta. I always thought people though he was good but not meta worthy.)
1:50 meta champs can do any situation well due to one op ability or an amalgamation of several little ones, but based champs have their own aptitudes and can do some parts of a fight really well like control, utility etc or maybe just damage but meta champs have all of those areas at around a seven which is why people suffering from bgs brain rot love them compared to a champ who has good damage but not necessarily the utility/survivability or vice versa. Although some champs that you play like ronin black panther are just some dirty they have every part of their kit worthy to be meta with need for only one special attack(dependant on the health pool)so they’re great for bgs but they also have the ability to keep going so they’re great for any type of health pool really. Point is meta champs can do anything pretty much but where based champs shine they shine.

Interesting. I was made aware of a similar loop during a "Please share your cheese options" thread on the forum. However, it necessitated the constant use of the relic, which I found somewhat unreliable in certain pieces of content. It worked in Act 8 but not against (if I remember correctly) Onslaught in Spring of Sorrow. However, your loop looks more sustainable. I can see it - maybe - working in more situations. Awesome vid nonetheless. I've always had a weird relationship with Shang-Chi. I know he's good, but he's just never really good enough for me to rank him up ahead of other champions. I have him at r2, but his chances of getting r3'd are pretty slim in the near future at least.
Love this guy, he was my first r3 from necropolis 7 months back, and I’m so glad someone is demonstrating his stun locking capabilities, because most people don’t realize just how good it can be. Congrats on your new r3
@AllisonEdits Yeah I love that rotation. I don’t always use it as I get scared of them throwing an sp3 somehow before they get up and I can stand up intercept, but that usually doesn’t happen. And when it works, it’s so satisfying completely controlling the fight like that lol.

I’ve had times where they throw an sp3 before they’ve even stood up so I can’t get a hit in.
