When Pete returns home after his grandmother’s death, he is more afraid of running into Mallory than anything else. Mallory refuses to let Pete into her life, but Pete can’t get her out of his mind. Pete will have to come to terms with what he’s willing to give up for her, and Mallory will have to decide if trusting him is worth the risk of him breaking her heart all over again.

I have been enjoying this audiobooks. It's a pleasure to read/listen to a book without lust and sex. I understand that you're not able to cover everything in a book. I'm sure Pete not only asked for Shannon forgiveness, but her family, his family, and friends, but most importantly, he asked for God forgiveness. I believe in Mercy. Most people want mercy in their lives, but how quickly we judge and will not extend mercy to others. I love your books, and while listening, I had to stop, pray, and give thanks to God.
I've enjoyed books 1 an 2 but is book 3 on audio I hope so . I've enjoyed meny of your audio books thank you for your good clean books

I enjoyed this book. I read a few negative comments about Pete. He definitely deserves some criticism. At times he was very selfish. But I wonder if the negative commenters listened all the way to the end. We all have our own selfish issues. They just show up in different ways. But that’s the beauty of the Gospel. As with Pete, the Gospel changes us.
I really like how the characters in all these books have flaws. It makes them realistic.

I’m 78, widow of a Christian husband, Peter prays for his own peace but not Mallory’s , he doesn’t ask forgiveness from a supportive family he has ignored, he forces a woman he “loves” to the edge of a butte and tickles her. Sorry, he may be a Christian but he will not be a good husband and their marriage will not be a happy one without his learning to be a Christian husband.
It’s a book. Hard to develop characters into fully formed ideas with everything needed to live 50 married years. Its all good!
Horses don’t “whine” they whinny.
An 'anecdote' is a story/memory one recounts, often funny, like what the poeple told after the grand-mother's funeral.
I'm sure you meant an 'antidote' for Malory's sad mood. (At 2:20:00)

It's too not to. It says right on it, Christian Romance! You can get trashy books anywhere. A lot of us don't need that smut nor do we want trash in our minds or lives!
Egotism and toxic behaviour is considered "Christian" in the US? That explains A LOT...
