  • This webcast highlights recent studies that reveal a novel mechanistic link between intestinal microbiota and the development of cardiovascular disease. Research suggests that gut microbiota may participate in the pathogenesis of cardiometabolic diseases, and the intestinal microbiome may serve as a potential therapeutic target for the treatment and prevention of CVD.
The gut microbiota webcast features expert faculty member, Dr. Stanley Hazen, of Cleveland Clinic.
The video was produced by the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Education and RJ Fasenmyer Center for Clinical Immunology.
