bruh i love this vanlife shit. i turned my backyard into a permitted rv pad with full utilities water, sewer, electric. it's like adding a bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen to your home but you can drive it around whenever you want lol..
I’ve been in my 96 RV for a year and a half with my dog, Zeus. I love living this way, and so does he. I travel around the United States and find good places. Best living I’ve done in 40 years.
Getting the right setup and figuring a lot of the pitfalls out requires a electrical engineering degree, and/or a lot of money. This clever setup requires a lot of planning and a work shop that will never fit on that bus.
My friends who have done this tell me everything is wonderful until something goes wrong that requires your RV to spend time at the mechanic's. Big trailer pulled by a pickup is better way to go. When pickup needs work, you stay in the trailer with your stuff.
Explain that to my ex gf, lol. I used to ask her what her fascination was with toxic drama llamas trying to get themselves hitched to another toxic drama llamas with the benefit of pressure from an audience to go through with it. Then she went supernova toxic herself. It seemed she REALLY related to the "characters" lol.

I would consider not keeping your keys right by the door, someone could just take them for fun, like people take garage door openers from parked convertibles.
Only one downside I see to this is that if the bus breaks down, your home breaks down. Id rather pull a camper than drive one. Just my personal preference. At least if a vehicle breaks down you dont temporarily lose your house when its in the shop for repairs. Other than that, this is super dope!

I lived in 280 sqft for 7 years. It gets old real fast. Now I live dept free on 5 acres I own in a 1, 735 sq ft 3 bed 2 bath conventional home. LOVE IT! I will never go back to small living. For me it sucks, but to each his own. My advice if you want to do tiny living rent a trailor and try it for a mounth.
My girlfriend is 67 years old and I am 66 years old . My girlfriend has a school bus that’s a work in progress . But she is afraid to go down into mexico . I am full time in a motor home so I have visited the Baja three times over the last ten years and never had any problems with any bad people . I found the Mexican people to be very friendly and helpful, some of the nicest people I’ve met . Enjoyed the video . Greetings from south east Alabama USA ☮️❤️

We camped in a PAID campground in Baja, Mex. Price was very reasonable. Gringos camped for “free” outside the fence. Only to come in to use toilets, get water and use garbages. Curious, free campers…we’re do you dump your sewage, fill you water tanks and put your garbage?

Only way to stay safe in mexico is not to go across the border into mexico. I lived in the border most of my life and I wouldn't go across now for anything.

I don't know who would consider going to one of the states with the most dangerous cities for the simple fact of being on the border, if I were traveling on the peninsula I would go to its sister state, Baja California Sur. It is arguably one of the safest states in Mexico compared to all the other states in the country.
The same could be said about going to the US. We've had more mass shootings this year than days of the year in 2023. Hmmm, maybe I should move. 🤔 The mental health issue + easy access to guns issue causing these shootings isn't going to go away by itself. We need ideas to resolve this or it will continue to get worse. It doesn't necessarily mean take away guns, but perhaps require the guns to be locked up when stored.

I love the transition of the bus makeover. One recommendation, however, I would have all the keys at the front entrance in a lockable compartment to prevent ease of access. Cannot be too safe these days.

I love the transition of the bus makeover. One recommendation, however, I would have all the keys at the front entrance in a lockable compartment to prevent ease of access. Cannot be too safe these days.
