@@jenaluneweightman7280 well, it kinda does. It does a lot in engaging your body with breath support and being able to take in more air. Without that breath support, we would sound more unstable.
She definitely has a start! And her voice is good but it does need some training. I noticed her vibrato is throat vibrato not natural. And needs to work on the cadenza a bit. I only say this cause her voice color is beautiful and has potential she just needs to train her voice a bit so that way she is singing with proper technique and not damaging her voice. Her breath support could use some work as well. But if she could get a choir teacher or some voice coach to help that should help her out. Her acting is really good too. Hope this helps! ❤❤😊
I’m sorry to be that person, but I’ve never heard a more off-key rendition of this song’s climax. I know it’s opera and opera tends to have a lot of vibrato, but I think if she pulled back on the vibrato a bit then those notes would be a lot cleaner.
Dont mean to be one of those guys, but the singing is the standard for collegiate level musical theatre (and for the rare high school), it’s still impressive regardless and could pass in Broadway, definitely passes for professional theatre, but again it’s the standard and what you’d expect from literally ANYONE who poured in a significant amount of time into it
If this is a high schooler than DAMN, you literally NAILED IT when it comes to singing keep going, go to college, get your theatre degree, you have a shot in Broadway if you can make it past the competition
Exactly. Only thing that would hinder her is her acting. When she moves her body doesn't move with a purpose. It's more like just bobbing and moving because she's too focused on her voice as herself and not as Christine. That's fine when you're learning the song, but not when you're performing it as a character. That's where the competition really sets in.
@@aarishowton8037 They could be a singer. People have different vocal which means some people will never be able to sing that song. Having said that, if you are working on this song for a while and it is in your range then you can perform this. Some people will have to work more than others. And yes, depending on who in college, many people can sing this song and it still be impressive
I will also add (as someone who was in the ensemble for this production) that we had almost 3 weeks to rehearse, working from 10-5 each day, and during the 2nd week, almost half the cast got covid. It still shocks me how we were able to pull it off
She has extremely good vocal control, I can only imagine how strong her diaphragm is.
No offense but you sing from your epigastrium not your diaphragm 😁
@@jenaluneweightman7280 epigastrium is just the point where your diaphragm meets your abdominal muscles lol, it’s not a separate thing
@@aarishowton8037 I never said it was a separate organ, but your diaphragm does nothing for your voice

Yeah you can’t feel or control your diaphragm
I love Anna’s coronation skirt at the bottom! Really compliments the Hannibal top!
She would be such a good Jane doe for ride the cyclone!

Nice top! Rings very clear. Beautiful timber. A little heavy on the bottom makes for messy runs.

Spoken like a true not-a-singer. My old vocal teacher struggled with this song. If you ‘don’t mean to be one of those guys’, then uh, don’t.
