In this interview Juan Diego Flórez speaks in Italian, his wife Julia and one of his friends in English, one of his teachers in Spanish, and Alain Duault, two singers interviewed (Patrizia Ciofi and Natalie Dessay) and Didier de Cottignies in French. When a language other than French is spoken it goes with French subtitles.
This interview came with several musical excerpts that have been cut off since they all come from commercial DVDs.
In this video Juan Diego Flórez talks about:
- the problem with high notes, if you sing an opera very well but you don't do the high notes well people will say you didn't sing well, and when you sing the all opera not so well but you do the high notes well people will say you were great.
