    Not slow at all. That's a very good machine. I'm just wondering why the stump wasn't cut shorter and why the grinding wasn't starting like 6 inches back to grab that ridge

      Haha...yeah we just cut to that height for easy viewing purposes. We are going in with the mulcher to clear it next as its part of a bigger project.

    So we bought a 30sg and we love it .The only thing it is slow in reverse ,runs perfect in forward.Is this normal with this machine

    I've tried renting a 30 SG barretto it has a Honda fuel injected motor versus the vanguard not fuel injected. The Honda motor one only has 90 hours it bogs out a lot and the motor stops so unlike the vanguard will sometimes the wheel might get a little bit too much stump and just stop the motor will at least stay on to be able to make it to where I can pull back and you know take Les stump off and continue on. Why would the newer Honda motor fuel injected be wanting to bog out and completely shut off

    Do you prefer a dedicated stump grinder vs attachment on a stand on skid steer?

    • @AmeriRentEquipment
      @AmeriRentEquipment  Před 6 měsíci

      Yes, I tend to see that it has more power to the grinder head than a stand on skid steer. Obviously it depends on the size of the stand on, however depending on which dedicated grinder you have they have more power in the head. This specific unit has separate drives that work different parts of the unit allowing for more power where needed.

    We own a small rental company in upstate ny and there is only one other company thats rent out stump grinders..We would like to add this unit but worry about retun on investment.You mentioned you have 3 units.How many times would you say a unit like this rents out in a year?

    • @AmeriRentEquipment
      @AmeriRentEquipment  Před 6 měsíci +1

      You never have to worry about a stump grinder not giving great ROI and thats why I rent it out all the time. On all three units I rented them between 35 to 46 times last year, lowest year rent was just over $10K and highest mover made $13K.

      How’s the damage caused by inexperienced renter?

    What kind of oil and filter do you have to use? Is it specific on both?

    Kind of slow

      I would say it depends on what you are comparing it to. For the size of the machine it does well compared to other models.
