I really like this format, livestreaming the challenge and have the community see and try to improve what was possible to achieve after finishing the livestream challenge. Wonderful video!
Yes, but, for example, I had bought it about 5 days before the servers went down because I hadn't played in years and I wanted to miss the public videos that I liked and spent hours playing, I wish they had left the servers open for 1/2 week so we could say goodbye...@@vengefulkatana7613
lol, I saw my username in chat starting near the end of the gardens. I deliberately didn’t follow along much longer during the streams so that this full fledged video would be fresh to me. It worked! Haha
Ive been binging all your videos. You have such creative challenge ideas Tas, LBP1 is my favourite game ever and it always makes me happy to remember it isnt truly dead.
I was there for the start of the first stream and watching this is so crazy cause it took like half an hour to get on top of that cloud in first steps, but here it seemed so effortless. I mean obviously it's condensed down for the video, but I never really realized how long some of these solutions take to find before seeing that haha. Makes me appreciate the amount of work that goes into these vids a lot more, it's more than one would imagine!! And obviously the editing and everything else too, I can't imagine the effort. I'm glad someone is still making such high quality content for a game that's largely forgotten about/not talked about as much anymore. 🧡
I like that new style, but I would like some commentary on parts where it's quiter or where you have to explain some complex technique to keep the flow
I'd love to see more livestreams, LBP and LBP2 were the main games of my childhood. Coming home from school, sitting down and booting up the PS3 with my sister to spend hours messing around in custom levels, it is probably the first game franchise I ever got REALLY into (perhaps with the exception of Lego Batman). Maybe it is very small, but I'm so happy to see that there is still an active community around this game that I have loved since as long as I can remember. Hah, maybe one day I'll actually play through LBP3, I just thought I grew up too much when it came out.
Awesome video! Love the creative moments that this challenged produced. Also it was really interesting to see in real time, as well as all the improvements made afterwards! :)
Your vids are my new fixation I love these challenges and your rin skin :D when you do a co-op jump do you magically do it all by yourself or do you use a private server and invite someone everytime? (Or have someone else irl) it's used alot in your videos so I'm curious 🤔 edit: nvm video answered my question lmAO
Great, now beat them but you can only layer change. You could use slapping for movement, but some obstacles would require thinking Rules my idea You cannot move left and right with the controller inputs for left right movement You can jump and layerchnage, as well as slapping
such a fun challenge, for your next one, what about something like minimal powerups in LBP2? ik you dont play lbp2 much, but youre beating too many lbp1 challenges
@@tasryse i was thinking more something like changing the levels and removing the powerups and seeing how many you can get through without even having the power up, but ig every power up in lbp2 uses R1 anyways so might be too similar
At first I was only disappointed that a lot of levels were gone, but now that there's an archive I couldn't care less about them shutting down. There's a lot of other ways to enjoy these games.
Even with the last of the servers down, the grind to make LBP1's story mode as tedious as possible is still carrying on! Very impressive!
0:05 oh, that's gore, that's gore of my comfort character
RIP mags
LMAO
Wake up babe, tasryse just uploaded
Honestly, getting through even a single (non-introduction) level without layer changing is really impressive.
That intro is great.
yeah I love how he explains everything visually instead of just going straight in or smth
Involving fritt and adsffff was such a goated decision
An idea that I think was entirely theirs.
We love tas's high quality lbp videos dont we folks
still cant believe jumping on that bird in first steps actually works... i remember you trying that method for like 30 minutes ☠️
thank you for helping with the video tas!
thanks skullcrusher666
@@Krosso thank you for making this possible.
I really like this format, livestreaming the challenge and have the community see and try to improve what was possible to achieve after finishing the livestream challenge. Wonderful video!
Now with servers down it’s all about story mode, definitely the best lbp creator right now
At least theres private servers
Yes, but, for example, I had bought it about 5 days before the servers went down because I hadn't played in years and I wanted to miss the public videos that I liked and spent hours playing, I wish they had left the servers open for 1/2 week so we could say goodbye...@@vengefulkatana7613
the private/custom servers typically have a decent sized archive uploaded, and work with new uploads.
lol, I saw my username in chat starting near the end of the gardens. I deliberately didn’t follow along much longer during the streams so that this full fledged video would be fresh to me. It worked! Haha
good video, but I preffer the voice over from the old videos

Damn I was hoping it was magsless

I've never played the LBP games before but gosh I have been binge watching your videos.
Like I was making a pizza while watching this video.
I really liked watching the livestream, but I also prefer your old format. Keep up the great work!

TAS

Awesome video! Love the creative moments that this challenged produced. Also it was really interesting to see in real time, as well as all the improvements made afterwards! :)
My god that two player fling exploit... I've never seen it before until I started watching your videos. I miss LBP ;w;

i liked the formatting of this video a lot! great work :3
i love the effort, keep it up!

Most of the time I do them by myself with a controller in each hand, but this video was a rare instance where I a was able to get help from others.
@@tasryse oh wow!!! :0 that takes alot of talent dam😎💪
3:46 those were 4 layer changes from the brown sackboy
A video I never knew I needed lol
i was there for the streams!
Yayyy tas uploaded let's goo!!!
Babe wake up Tasryse posted peak
TASRYSE POSTED!!
Great, now beat them but you can only layer change. You could use slapping for movement, but some obstacles would require thinking
Rules my idea
You cannot move left and right with the controller inputs for left right movement
You can jump and layerchnage, as well as slapping
i love this challenge because its unique to little big planet.
Yayyyy new LBP video!!!
i was so hyped when i saw the notification for this video
Lets gooooooo new upload
such a fun challenge, for your next one, what about something like minimal powerups in LBP2? ik you dont play lbp2 much, but youre beating too many lbp1 challenges
Well I have some good news, my minimal R1 uses for LBP2 video explores that idea.
@@tasryse i was thinking more something like changing the levels and removing the powerups and seeing how many you can get through without even having the power up, but ig every power up in lbp2 uses R1 anyways so might be too similar
asdfff jumpscare i didnt expect them here
Good video tas
Lol, i appeared in the video
Does that hurt Mags!?
I remember watching the stream 😩
3:44 he switched layers (default sackboy) well he could have easily respawned to not do it so guess it doesnt really matter
So when is the magsless run dropping
tas, how do you feel about the servers shutting down for lbp3?
At first I was only disappointed that a lot of levels were gone, but now that there's an archive I couldn't care less about them shutting down. There's a lot of other ways to enjoy these games.
you forgot "to" in the title
At 16:49 you can definitely use the checkpoint, right?
Commenting for the algorithm
3minutes ago, lucky me. I will rpely when i finish, because i actually finish videos.
how did you do the online multiplayer? or is it local multiplayer
It's a custom server called Beacon.
@@tasryse ohh alr ive heard of that, i still gotta get around to getting the custom server stuff working, ty though!
How many 2-4x part can you complete alone in LBP1/2?
can you make chalenge "can you beat lbp 1 without opening bubble texts?" ?
That is an amusing idea, although I don't imagine it being very deep.
How do you play online without playing online? I wanna try out for myself. Would I need to jailbreak my PS3?
Yes. It's a custom server called Beacon.
wait man you forgot (to) in you're title of the video it says does it take BEAT instead of does it take to beat
Yessir
what songs did you used? they are remixes of the original soundtrack
The description should give you enough information to find them.
oh wow?

At 24:13 you get 69 if you add the numbers together
When all hope seemed lost. Tas returned despite the loss of the final servers 🫶
