The XFLY Eagle Twin is an innovative racing model with twin EDF motors on each wing tip, this is a radical configuration and allows for a large area in the middle of the fuselage for batteries, and other equipment. The included power system gives a power-to-weight ratio of over 1:15 which allows for easy hand-launching and an incredible performance. Top speeds of over 110mph are achievable, and a special EDF mixing configuration makes the Eagle capable of performing differential maneuvers. These include flat spins, inverted flat spins, and other challenging aerobatic maneuvers.

Fun to watch this video as i have been flying one for last few weeks. Mine is twitchy on elevator as well. Also this plane is built like a tank, had a bad crash on my maiden because i hand launched with too little power, no damage at all. I love it. Andy in uk.

I don't often see videos of that model flying successfully. I think it's designed with orders of magnitude more yaw authority than it needs, but you still made the handling look easy. Refreshing to watch. Do salute yourselves, you certainly deserve it!

I like the sound on this, and the glide; v sexi. I agree totally about being careful adjusting the CG; Flying wings are short, so any adjustment is a greater percentage of the length. Great flight and landing! Big salute as ever from London. 🌟👍

Heya 🫡🇺🇸🇸🇰 what a beautiful day to fly rc we’ve been having crazy wind here but the micro warbird still handles well in the 15 mph wind with 25mph gust but what a sexy plane captain!
Its also still good weather here at this moment. But they say rain in the afternoon and the next few days. But we did film two more maiden flight yesterday 👍
🫡 ahhh thats always good to hear and I’ve been stress testing these planes in snow and rain and they just handle amazing they start getting shaking in the 20mph range. But maybe you could make a video about the most some of these planes can handle. Also thanks for the reply my girlfriend was ecstatic and wanting to say hi “sadie”. You will love it Alan. Just find good CG and you will have great fun.
+1 for OrangeRX. I have a couple in different planes and they have always worked flawlessly. A possible hint for the camera blurring (I have used this for filming RC planes). See if your camera has manual focus lock control (it almost certainly will). Zoom in on an object in relative distance (e.g. one of your trees nearby) then press the focus lock button. Zoom back out and it will still be in focus. Then you can film and zoom in and out without blurring.

Based on this and other videos, I just ordered one of these Eagle Twins on Amazon! This thing looks like classic Old Republic Star War spacecraft! I also love that swoosh sound that high blade count EDFs tend to make like at 7:03 and 8:20 in the video. 👍
I agree that flying wings are the most elegant looking of all planes. But I always want rudder control for better agility and smoother flight so the twin EDF differential thrust will be very welcome. Ever see a wing do a full knife edge pass? I'll try it!

You don't need expo set on radio. Just turn down the elevator gain on the gyro does the same as expo and will not be twitchy after that. Flying mine since they first came out and not one crash.

When it's touchy on up-elevator, the CG has to be moved to the front, not to the back.
A few millimeters to the front and you'll be a happy pilot again 😊

I've found with flying wings that are tail heavy will fly out straight from a hand launch for a bit, then it's like they hit an invisible wall and fall out of the sky.

Hi guys,just got this one,I'm using frsky x6r and zorro radio,but when I tried the stab mode like you have done the elevons moved but the motors did not correct when you moved it left and right.Im not going to chance it until it works properly any ideas.
