- Lil' Rev and I performed this bluegrass tune during the Saturday evening concert at the recent Ukulele Ceilidh. The concert was held in the Astor Theatre in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. What a fabulous concert it was. A real privilege to be part of it.
Many thanks to Bartt for recording the video and to Chris at the Astor Theatre for letting me plug into the main feed. Listen through headphones if you have them because the audio came out really well for a live performance. - Hudba
Hi Ken, I enjoyed this performance. This was recently posted me by some of my bluegrass friends who don't know or understand ukulele at all. Their responses were all positive. Keep up the good work in expanding ukulele awareness. The world is a better place for it.
Tommy Coughlin Thank you. If you check my videos you will see that I have recorded it several times with some really great players.
Real top-notch ukulele maestros. Hat's off to both of you!
Thanks Dale.
Beautiful!! This performance certainly brings to mind visions of snowdrops! Love it!
Many thanks for watching, Joanie.
Fabulous as always, and of course, I was there!
It was a fun concert, Sue.
that was lovely. and I like the camera work at the beginning. gave it a sea going feel
Haha. That's Ukulele Bartt for you. He probably wanted to give it a nautical flavour.
Excellent Ken. You are quite the class act as usual!
Thanks. It was a very important concert, Justin. I had to try and play well.
Very nice Ken and Rev. Hope you had a nice time in Nova Scotia.
Yep. We sure did, Russ.
Brilliant! Excellent! It is good that there was only one hat. Funny sunbeams galloping across the hall to the music!
Thanks. I was going to wear a hat myself, but Rev wears them so well.
Very nice.
Thank you.
Hey Ken, this is really nice with LiL' Rev's Reso ukw!! - FLOYD
Thanks Floyd.
Bet you did!! Aloha!!!
Aloha Ken & Little Rev Sasspatorious !!!
Thanks JC. We had a great time.
This so beautiful, I just tuned my tenor uke to dGBE but I am going to have to go back now I have heard the beautiful bell-like tones your playing produces.
Rev did a great job accompanying, I can see him varying his strum and volume to match you throughout.
Thanks very much, David.
Very nice
Thanks Eric.
Cool! I was studying this tune in the book of Aaron Keim.
It's a great tune, Aline. Aaron's a friend of mine. We have actually played it together at a festival. Can't remember which one. But there is a recording somewhere.
Ken Middleton , I'll go looking for.
