The "Phantasm" strat was nerfed in the Jan'24 update. It's significantly different than the card version now.

Remember that the captain with jump pack gives an extra pip of strength. So, the thunderhammer, for example, is on S11. The encarmine blades are on S8.
I think we were including that but thanks for pointing out. Those little extra bits of strength really help when you get around S8 onwards👍😎
Ah! Well, great, then! I only mentioned it because I thought I’d heard Mike mention the strength of Dawnhammer’s TH as S10 on the charge when he was fighting the crimson hunter (right near the end of the game). But, maybe not! Carry on 👌🏻

IN regards of the spirit seer buff with the wraithblades: Since you normaly have to slow dice every dice, your counterattack benefits everytime, if you would have pulled yoru character last. So yes, they still benefit on their fight on death
What a brutal game! Always enjoy watching the Eldar, but you should really consider a farseer in the list to mske the most of those fate dice. I would go for a skyrunner with the windriders. Might also want some cheap stuff to screen out your backfield, seems like the "open backdoor" creates some problems a bit to often 😉

1:28:01 I think characters can’t tank wounds in 10th. I think the character rule means they take wounds last. No tanking on Exarch.
Exarchs aren't characters, they don't have the key word and they are part of the Aspect Warrior unit. So they can take damage first. Anything with the character key word that is leading or attached to a unit e.g. Farseer/ Warlock takes damage last. 🙂

Wonderful game as always !! Luke good sir i really think you need a farseer variant, maybe skyrunner for this list, post recent nerf. The ability to sub in for 6s really makes the most of your fate dice.. would boost windriders/ shining spears effectiveness as well as a good guide target in your list

Love your eldars man! Surely you will need to optimize the list now they are nerfed! Perhaps starting with a farseer to change fate to 6s, put a -1 wound on avatar, wraithlords or guards... Seems like a must

Maybe you could make a tournament with 500 and 1000 point Armys. So beginers can relate better.

I hope GW doesn't do anything to impact the Blood Angels in a negative way when thier Codex comes out, as a DeathWing player Land Raiders are going to be my linch pins along with a Storm Raven. I have a 31 model list not including Watchers or Teleport Hommers. Blood Angels don't need any Nerfs because of the recent Space Marines Nerfs will affect them already.

I always thought that cover can't improve your save beyond a 3+ but turn one you used cover to counter the -1 AP from some heavy bolter hits on the Wraithlord bringing the save back to 2+, have I got that rule wrong?
Yes I think we are correct on that one. A unit with a base save of 3+ can't use cover to improve that save. But other than that cover can but used. Check the wording of the rule carefully to see what I mean🙂👍

I'm pretty sure you can use multiple fate dice per phase now. When GW nerfed Fate Dice they also changed back to the old wording that allows you to use as many as you like per phase!
Sadly not, GW app has updated strands text to six dice but still says once per phase. 😢

You can only overwatch a unit in the movement phase when it starts or finishes a movement
