Man that first one is so cute I would love to get my hands on that and try to fix it up. Probably not worth it at all but I found it quite charming. What a shame
Those door knobs are actually worth something.. I seen that type a few times in old houses.. I saw heard from someone that they are worth money.. probably not much but still.. and this would be the second time I've seen a vulture in a house in your videos.. I'm used to seeing them on the sides of roads eating.. one time had a huge group of them in my front yard and a few in my back yard, they were eating corn and crackers I threw out..
I love the way you get close to things like doorknobs and such. My grandmother had doorknobs just like those in her home when I grew up. Keep up the great work! Your hand is so steady on the camera and the images are very clear. Thank You, Bekah for the work you do. I bet you were really freaked out when the bird took off the way it did. Especially when you opened the door to that room and there was no floor in it.
a new Rick & Bekah video...happy happy happy joy joy joy.....thanks...…………..3:32 I have seen many toilets in the abandoned places ya'll have explored ….(some would mag a gaggot)..... but never one this clean...amazing to say the least :)
Loved it, both of the houses! I guess if it don't have a lot of "stuff" in the house, Bekah doesn't want to go in, lol!! Thanks for sharing these two explores, too bad neither one of them could be fixed up and lived in. That buzzard scared me for you!! You two stay safe out there, Peace, Kim ~
That buzzard tho'😄I think the gimbal even "soiled" itself! Wldn't it be cool to know the back stories of all the places you video...🤔Great job Rick & Bekah👍👍
I want a kitchen sink like that one,so cool .. When you guys walked in there I thought oh no the floors looked sketchy 👀😳. Great video, were yo guys close to an airport or maybe cows??? 🤣🤣😂 I think buzzards love old houses ......
The first house seems very sturdy & can still be renovated should the right person comes along. It’s small & could be for an older person living alone or for someone just starting out. The dresser in the bedroom at 1:20 is very much similar to the one I have House #2 had super nice woodwork with the stairs, the windows & the doors. I don’t blame you for not walking on the floor in the one room. It wasn’t worth it.
The first house was so cute.. the second one was just gorgeous! And you found a creepy chair in an empty room lol.. sorry about the vulture startling you but it was a great video!!!
Enjoyed those houses and the second one was surprising to say the least. I bet that buzzard startled you. Did Becka leave after the bird incident? Thanks for sharing.
You could care a bit more about the audio. I had to turn YT audio to max, Windows mixer to the max, TV to the max, then I could understand you. But when the ads come, it's like an audio earthquake. Use an audio compression software....
I think captions are an automatic feature? Just going by how they misspell things. I couldn't understand most of what he said so maybe the captions couldn't either?? I'd love captions too though.
You see that a lot in the south for some reason. They would build according to the current trend, but often without the classic features. I have seen southern craftsman style homes with plain wood walls like this one and plain boards for base boards. In other parts of the country they would be plastered and have fancier base boards and trim.
Homeless people should be allowed to live in better condition abanded houses ..better then having no roof over their heads..at least they can make these places livable and not rot like they do when nature takes over ..
It's terrible that people are homeless. I see a lot of that in the town where I live. Sadly some of the people who are homeless are also mentally ill or are involved in substance abuse and would not be able to take care of a house once they'were in it or the house would be used as a center for criminal activity.(I had a neighbor who brought homeless people into his apartment and it ended badly and he left or was evicted.) If there was some way to screen people to find who will care for the home and to help them get jobs so that those residents could take care of the house and be at least partially self-sufficient that would be great. For a long time I've had the idea that there could be professional live-in caretakers who look after an unoccupied house until there's a new owner/resident. Where I live a place was built for the chronically homeless. It's on a bus route so residents can get to medical or social services or to a job and a temp agency is across the street. There's probably some supervision and inspection there also as in most apartment complexes.
@@andrewbrendan1579 I agree. I wish homeless people could stay in abandoned houses and have it work out for everyone involved, but it generally does not. (Surely there are exceptions.) However-- there are "squatter's rights" laws that vary by location. If a homeless person were to stay in an abandoned home and actually care for it for a given amount of time, they could claim ownership. Not entirely sure how that works as the laws do vary, but it's an option. In my state it's 7 years though.
Rick and Bekah, Love the exploring!
Bekah you are a poet with your camera.
There's nothing like the subtle adrenalyn of going through old places like this! I can only imagine the memories each night there in houses like that!
Bekah your focus on hardware & finishes I appreciate. Thank you for your videos Rick & Bekah
both those houses had beautiful woodwork and doors/trim. That built in was gorgeous
Both houses looked to be cute places at one time to live in and ty for sharing this 👍 😊...
Thanks Rick and Bekah!!!! For these amazing tours of abandon places
Man that first one is so cute I would love to get my hands on that and try to fix it up. Probably not worth it at all but I found it quite charming. What a shame
Thanks for the tour.
I like how Bekah walks away every time Rick starts opening drawers.
It looks like he's looking for something! Not like most do when going into abandoned house's.
@Dan Cline I agree, that would startle a mouse 🐁 living in those drawers.
That first house would be so cute all fixed up!
✔️ that’s what I was thinking also 👍
Shades of video #10 ran thru my head when you said I’m about to be startled
As always, wonderful video work!
Those were interesting houses. The first one looked to be in the process of being fixed up before being abandoned.
The first one is practically a shack, and wouldn’t economic make sense to fix it up.
✔️ GreenAppelPie 🙂👍
Loved that second house! Thanks!
Looks like the style and era of house I'd buy!
Great video as always!💜

Rumah nya basar dan bagus... Tapi sayangnya sudah rusak... 😊😊 good video.. 👍👍
Like this house. Sad to see a reno get started only to end up being abandoned.
The closeups of the door handles is cool.

Thanks for the startle warning. I jumped 6 feet anyway though. Lol
Ha sorry ! I hate being startled. That’s why I warned you all. :)
Exploring with Rick & Bekah totally appreciate it
Bekah,great to see you back,missed you.xx
Looks as if they must've been nice places. Kind of sad. They were someone's home. Someone had a life there.
Have really missed you to.
I like The video, what a crazy bird!
✔️ Daniel Pontin yes, they are a little weird

✔️ Jack Vegetables 👍👍
Enjoyed those houses and the second one was surprising to say the least. I bet that buzzard startled you. Did Becka leave after the bird incident? Thanks for sharing.
It was muddy so she didn’t see the second place.
I was a nervous wreck waiting!
Cool 😀
Is that writing on the wooden beam near the end? It looks like someone used part of a crate to reinforce it, maybe?
Really good jump scare....lol
Beautiful old girl!! Today's new homes the rooms are small- pay by the foot. Shame!
So happy to see ya again. I have miss ya. :)
i beautful rick
Why was there a lock on the outside of the door?

Noted. Thx
@@ExploringwithRickBekah it would definitely be a plus if we could understand you better. :)
I use ear plugs and the sound is 👍
I forgot last week I unsubbed. I guess I'll sign back up, looks like you got the good camera person back (Bekah). Thumbed up.

Someone's got a crush on Bekah.
Well you have to admit, she is adorable. ;- )

Wallpaper applied directly to wood, I didn’t know that was a thing.

How'd Rick & Bekah
✔️👋
Was that a sound of a cow mooing in the background?
LIke it says in the first Diablo game "Yup that's a cow"
✔️ yes... sounds like one. 🙂
I would wear a mask.gloves stinks in there
Your volume is very low in your video!
2 very nice and old decaying places .

Jesus, why would you need to sweeten orange juice?
I guess you could ask Him through prayer. :p
