I bought these headlights too and the original g35 harness piece is weird because it has 2 extra bulbs and also the little power box doest want to fit in the hole😪
Define the little power box ? The ballast ? You should put the ring seal around it and screw in then the hid system screws in to the projector part, righty tighty.

Sounds like you’re going to have to remove the lens and clean the dust out of it. There is super adhesive connecting the lens to the housing. Heat up with heat gun, separate, wipe away dust, then glue back together. Hope this helps !

I installed these on my G35 but when I turn the lights on only the normal hid lights come on and the turn signal do too. However, the light that’s supposed to come on instead of the turn signal doesn’t. How can I fix this?
So if I’m understanding this correctly, the white light strip doesn’t light up on yours ? I would check your fuses for your headlights and then from there maybe contact customer support for the Spec-D’s.
@@LuminaryCo Well they didn’t work out of the box, Im not sure what it could be i’ve connected everything up the right way (I think!) all of this is a litttle confusing to me 😂
Everything from the old stock headlights are used in the new spec ds and is plug and play. Bulb sizes are D2R for top HID projector bulb, and H4 for low beam bottom bulb. Hope this helps !

That part is called the ballast and would need to be transferred over.

Most likely a wiring issue or something got wet. These headlights fog up out of the box, so caulking them could’ve avoided this !

I used the stock headlight projectors and transferred them to the spec d casing.
