- This is a super special video for me, I got the chance to head to Finale Ligure for the final stop of the EWS Enduro World Series and Trophy Of Nations. MTB Enduro racing is much like downhill racing but way longer, and with longer stages comes more problems, crashes and horrendous climbs. This was my first ever enduro event of this calibre, so to race down huge mountains on trails with rocks, roots, jumps and cliffs was a crazy experience for. I shot the whole day on GoPro POV to take you along with me for a full enduro world series race. enjoy the downhill footage but also the shots me suffering. Enduro is so tough, I think a lot don't realise just how hardcore it is, few could do what you just did on a full EWS course. Essentially racing dh whilst exhausted after only (normally) one practise run, it really pushes the limits of rider and bike. Much respect. I'll stick to the local enduro races, 2-4 minute stages with 20 minute climbs, and still takes me a week to recover from an event!

Thank you for doing this! Really interesting to see your perspective and line choice when you're fatigued. You are one of the best bike handlers and obviously top-tier slopestlye riders on the scene so it was really insightful to watch how you made decisions, good or worse, when you got gassed. That's easily the best video you've done! I'm used to seeing this guy show off his mad jumping skills and making cool videos but it's great to see him empty the tank and drag himself through the challenge.

Watching stage 1 and 2 I was like, "yeah, that ain't too bad, looks managable", then stage 3 kicks in and from then on I was like "how would you even approach half of those obstacles?"

The one enduro race that I’ve done was one of the hardest yet most gratifying things I’ve done. I hope the whole race season isn’t canceled this summer because I was looking forward to trying a few more this year

I'm much more an XC guy, I don't think I could have done those climbs on my hardtail... The descending was inspiring stuff in isolation, but after the climbing I'm actually in awe.
I remember hating the camera flashes when I was racing 24hr XC and I think I actually yelled at a few photogs not to take the picture at night :-/
