If you saw the 2nd episode, you can see that AhYoung is actually another girl that protected the real girl when she was bullied. But while getting drinks for them, got hit by a vehicle and died. The girl with the giraffe clips felt guilty for her friend, AhYoung's death, and took on her clip and personality due to that incident. [Also when the girl with the giraffe clips was hiding in that box, it was the real girl, and how she used to react when she was bullied. AhYoung, when she was alive, found the giraffe clip girl in a box, hiding from her bullies, and befriended her, thus beginning the whole story.]

Everything is true except for the box part. I think you misunderstood it. She didn't use the box to hide from her bullies. Her bullies made her go into that box to humiliate her (made her stay inside for 6 hours while saying "I'm sorry" continously).
