This thing seems great considering the price is nearly half of that from the Tab S9 Ultra. That said, I do wish they added a second USB-C port as a displayport in port so you can use it as a second screen for a laptop/desktop. It can be used as a second screen via their built in app and it does it over wifi. But nothing beats a cable connection.
Xiaomi only adds mirroring, although in theory display extension could be done through a software update but I don't think they will implement it. Yes, it's through that USB C 3.2 port.
I hate that. I really liked what the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro 12" offered and considered buying one over the Galaxy Tab S9+ but as you said, there's not a global version offered.😔
At around half the price of the Ultra it looks to have way more than half the value. Main compromises look to be no OLED screen and no DEX. MIUI launcher is no good but that's easily remedied with another one. Xiaomi make some good gear. I'm still using a Mix Max 3 as one of my main phones. Granted I'm not a fan of mobile gaming but as a smart phone it's great.

Bro you have made this mistake TWICE in the lenovo y700 as well. Its "8 PLUS GEN 1" , not the same as 8 GEN 1. These chips are completely different in terms of power and efficiency.

That's pretty neat, and I agree that the gen2 would've been a better choice. Overall though, I think at this price point, you're probably better off getting something like a yoga or other 2-in-1 convertible with an x86 cpu. You'll lose that massive pixel density, but I don't think you'll truly miss it either.

I really wish I could use an android tablet for my needs, but I want to use it for music production mainly, along with video editing and Photoshop. The iPad Pro just takes the cake in all of those categories and I hate it because while I currently use an iPhone, I'm an android guy all day long. I just don't see any point to getting a larger android tablet when, and I can't believe I'm saying this, the features are very limited to phone apps compared to apple's offerings. This is the first time I can say, an iPad can do more as far as productivity goes. If you could natively sideload on an iPad it would be the perfect machine. If Google paid people to bring desktop-esque programs to android like Apple does, then they would 100% be on the top of my list again. Till then, my M1 iPad Pro is on the way

I have a few tablets and phones with Dex (I collect phones tablets etc.) I still see you can do more with android, technically, but there still just isn't the best application support. And you still mostly get apps made for phones not tablets.
@@RyanUniverseZ FL Studio mobile is a great way to start. I actually started with it on my Galaxy S4. But it's feature limited compared to something like the iPad version of Logic Pro or even Beat Maker 3. They're both extremely feature rich with unlimited amounts of customization and hardware support. Again I like android more as an OS, but Apple just has the best application support as of right now in the tablet world

They really have to fix a lot of inconsistencies with the pad lineup. They have a ton to work on. The refresh rate for example is not 120-144 all the time even in custom mode, it drops to 60 on random times and is locked to 60 on the youtube app (yes when I scroll in the home of youtube its only 60) which doesnt happen to my s22 ultra and my s8 tab. Theres a lot else I can talk about but xiaomi really needs to fix a lot of things for now
I guess that is due to its adaptive refresh rate. When there's no interaction or you're just watching videos or in idle, then it toggles down to 60 or even lower to save battery.

This is too big and China only, I ended up buying the regular Pad 6 with 870 and it still performs nicely. Pad 6 Pro is the best in my mind but that one is China only as well, too bad.

They have entirely different target audience bruh The Y700 is Purely for gaming and is a small tablet at 7 inch The Pad6 Max is a 14 Inch Tablet aimed for Entertainment and being an all around large tablet
This is my kind of tablet size. But seeing what AYN has done with the Odin 2 and the Fen 2 SOC for $299, this looks very overpriced. No AV1 support on this SOC from what I can deduce. Dolby Vision seems nice but then we see that this is available on the significantly cheaper new Fire TV Max stick, so clearly cheap to implement. Which essentially mostly leaves the screen to make up a $300 difference, which can't really b justified. $399 for the base model would be a more realistic price.

Lenovo legion y700 2023 have same specs as this xiaomi mipad 6maz and only 8.8 inch tablet. $200 usd cheaper than this.

It's in the China ROM only, so yea you need to import this one. The global, regular Pad 6 doesn't have it yet.

It comes with 8 speakers. To detail, each speaker has its own woofer and tweeter. Each speaker unit has its own sub and tweeter.

I have now the xiaomi pad 6 pro and i really satisfied using it , maybe soon if this available in philippines then i will grab the chance .

I think it's by design. Gsmarena states which condition uses which refresh rate and I have verified them all to be true.

I think it's the worst aspect ratio for watching movies which most tablet users use it for.
