I used to listen to EDM back in middle school. I stopped once I hit high school. 2 years after high school, I met Her. She brought it back into my life. This was one of the songs she showed me when we first met.. as there were many songs that represented the flourishing and new found love at the beginning. Nearly 3 years later, after have moving in together and all we have been through. This song has a different feel to it. Because now it is true. She left me for another man. She said she would never do something like cheat. The irony. --- This is for my men out there. Don't sacrifice yourself or your happiness for someone else. Speaking from an EDM fan perspective, the acoustic version is definitely better than the EDM version. I find this EDM version build up to be over-hype and the drop doesn't have the oompf the build up brings. Nevertheless, I like both versions and I actually found the EDM version before I found the acoustic version
