All I need is BUILT IN ACTIVE TRACK in the gimbal itself. A system where I dont need a separate raveneye, lidar, or phone. Just add the DJI pocket 3 user interface where you can tap on people or items on the screen itself. It would open up so much creative shots for single operators especially.
Bruh!!! LITERALLY THIS!! This is the only feature I was hoping for to upgrade, they could easily add a small camera like the pocket, doesn’t even need to be high res, but enough to just select a subject on the back menu screen… it just seems like such a simple feature, they already have the camera and the software in the drone.. I think they definitely dropped the ball on that feature maybe next year with the rs5

Yeah definitely one of my only gripes with my RS3 Pro is how sticky the arms are to adjust!
but still bad tripod, it loosens and claps like porn
we are waiting for dji to implement 4D into the gimbals. tired of this same gimbal relaunched again and again. nothing really new.

How difficult do you think that would be? I know they already have that in the Ronin 4D but that’s a bigger camera package.
they clearly want you to just get the 4d camera instead.
Yep, exactly so. Unfortunately they most probably wont implement 4D in this gimbal as it would require major redesign. Plus they pushing their 4d camera as a product. So forget it for the next 4-6 years at least.
I've grown my CZcams channel using DJI products over the years. Great equipment and tools that will get the job done every time.
Reminds me of this other gimbal called the RS3

Not a single reason to buy RS4 if u have RS3. He just got heavier. Otherwise, there's nothing new the RS3 can't do.
It seems like this covers just about everything. The only thing I'm hoping for soon is some sort of universal automatic self-balancing adjustment feature, so we don't have to do it manually every time.
Can the RS4 Connect via Bluetooth to the RED Z8 and Z9?
The brand who will at least innovate to decrease or even remove the Z axis bounce, will have my money. Until now nothing that can't be done by the generation before.

@@valendis I had the RS3 and RS3 mini but mostly used the RS3 mini. Great gimbal for small set up.
@@Duc1198YamR1 I have a A7C with the small form factor 50mm f2.5, i'd like to take it on hikes and stuff like that so yeah I like the weight and size of the rs3 mini, I was more asking about "should I wait for the rs4 mini?"
@@valendis I’m using the RS4 right now and to be honest I can’t tell the difference between the RS4 and RS3. So I’m assuming that the RS4 mini won’t be that much of a different, maybe they’ll make the battery removable

What are you filming with? This product line is intended for mirrorless cameras or super small cinema cameras without a rig.
@@AiringAustin I just want to be able to run my 12 pound FX6 without having to get that janky Zhiyun Crane 3S. Is that so much to ask? DJI is obviously trying to become the #1 affordable pro/sumer solution, but they're just dead set on this 10 pound limit. It sucks.
Further, it's so hard to balance it with the tophandle on so unless you're recording externally, you have no good audio solution. FFS the FX6 has a XLR/+48v handle that, when on a gimbal, I cannot use.

I feel like I saw a leaked picture of that hand unit, but everyone thought it was a new Arri or something! Great to finally know where it’s coming from, and to be able to get a hand unit with decent controls for a reasonable price!!!!

native portrait mode is good. for the next one, would love a higher payload, some native wireless communications. would also like a lidar mounting solution that doesn't burden the motor.
Bit of a let down tbh. I feel there should be options when it comes to the joystick to get cleaner movement, even pre mapping movements
How durable is the teflon coating, if it's rubbing together won't it wear out.
So realistically, how much better quality are you gonna get from this vs the cost? When social media will just compress the F out of anything uploaded plus most devices that will even view these videos and shots can't even see that much quality after so much so it's diminishing returns
I mean, that's one hell of a Camera Rig, I'd hate having to carry all that honestly.
The proposed DJI drone ban if it passes will effect virtually all future DJI products. It will prevent DJI from getting FCC licenses for any new DJI products. That means anything that uses any radio frequencies, including WiFi, Bluetooth and wireless video. That means future Ronin 4D products, gimbals, action cameras DJI transmit etc.

Like others, I was holding out hope for auto balance/rebalancing.
Unfortunately this feels more like a RS3+ model or something, with an insane eco system that only really comes into play on large budget productions with multiple team members.
Gimbal tech for the solo filmmaker has more or less plateau'd. Until one of these companies becomes the first to release a completely self balancing system - which would set them way ahead of the competition - we can probably just expect more ecosystem expansions and unnecessary add ons.
Safe to say for us solo filmmakers, the best news about this release is that the RS3 will now drop in price, and I think that is what I will be upgrading to (from my RSC 2).

I crashed my dji mini 4 pro few days ago and later i noticed that obstacle was not working. So i did some research only but couldn't find any solution, which day you have to launch DJI assistant for DJI mini 4pro. we have face alot of situation.
Are there any 4-axis stabilization accessories for this gimbal?

It's hilarious they make the shots done with the pro version look 100x better when they are totally achievable with the base model, like you can still mount the normal gimbal on a car and get just as good shots
until auto balancing is implemented gimbals are just a another thing to make a recording day stressful

As a Pro 3 user the only benefits seem to be more Torque and better Lidar System. Is that new Lidar backwards compatible?
Currently rocking the RS3… but the only feature I am looking for in an upgrade is to have the same active track tech on the drones carry over to the gimbal some how to keep a subject centered in frame while moving around!!

I wish to have one of these
DJI make some great products but I’m a bit underwhelmed by this announcement. It would have been nice on the RS model to have tracking but also what I’m really looking for is a way of easily travelling with a gimbal. They never pack up in a way that I find useful, when travelling light and I would welcome some form of belt, harness type thing where we’re not in use you could just slot it in and walk around and then quickly take it out with the camera on top to use. I won’t be buying another gimbal until these problems get solved.
