Joel's sudden and strong obsession with the bbq pit boys is what I think to be the most strange and stupid thing of him. Though it is still funny and charming and shows Joel's wonderful child like innocence and charm with how overly obsessed he is with them.

A lot of people this was rigged too which yeah 3 vs 1 is fair but the pitbois weren’t fair either. Now including the other reasons of cheating the pit bois
1. Rev’s rope grabbing
2. The rev counting the third tap
There was also shenanigans with the ring throughout the tournament fighters were just smelling each other and just standing there not hitting. I believe that the Pittbois smoked barbecue to cloud the instincts of the fighters. The only not effected were:
1. Scoot
2. Vinny
3. Todd
4. Pittbois
5. Rev
Ps. I skipped through the after fight (aka the dwarf)
Now Todd I just believe was just selling out his game while Vinny has his own vinesauce and Scoot was too buff to enjoy the smell. And Rev was the first to fight him plus his own smell blocked the bbq smoke. His only fair fights were Scoot (and maybe the Dwarf).
