Can someone explain the auger wagon? It seems like it's an unnecessary middleman. No? Why go: Harvester, Auger Wagon, Semi trailer silo/sell when you can just as easily go: Harvester, Semi trailer, silo/sell? Legitimate question. I don't understand why.

the auger wagon is used so the truck doesn't go in the field

In real life the fields often to muddy to get a semi in so the wagon runs it from combine to semi so the combine doesnt have to stop and go unload. Certain field also require the combine to be folded up to get in which would be impossible while full of grain
