I’m sure you have heard of Thom’s new band The Smile. The song “blue eyed fox” I believe, sounds a lot like Twisted Words. Would love to head you cover that! I come back to your videos atleast once a month. They’re incredible!

Warren, it's fascinating what a long, difficult gestation of 5+ years "Take On Me" had. There's a nice mini documentary about its story: czcams.com/video/wlTHJJX7QVU/video.html The band certainly isn't precious about the hit (they call it -- or at least earlier versions of it -- "cheesy") and its upbeat catchiness not reflective of their temperament. "Summer Moved On" is another A-ha classic which rewards study, I think: Fantastic production and an otherworldly vocal performance by Morten Harket!

I just remember driving at a god awful hour to make donuts and my my sweet sweet blonde girlfriend and this song ‘Take On Me’ played 4 times per hour. You never want another donut, and I married a blonde. A ha!
