What about Wheaton/Winfield! Check out Winfield as the area is finally on the come up with new investment and building around the hospital and train station.
Gnarly Knots in Winfield is a cool place! Compared with the other DT areas in the video Wheaton didn't make the cut and Winfield doesn't really have a downtown area other than a few eateries around the train stop. Thanks for your input!

Well taxes are high in every city. But Chicago politicians are bad. But Chicago has a nice downtown and very great jobs. Every city has their bad and good things. So stop hating on Chicago.

What about Elgin, IL? Does it have a vibrant downtown? Is it a good place to move?
Elgin has some great spots to live, downtown isn't bad along the river. Are you thinking of moving there?
