i loved this analysis of his work and the passion in your voice when describing his shape design and mark making. Im a huge fan of his work and it always inspires me when i come back to it. There is so much skill and understanding that goes into creating images like this. I suppose this is why i cringe when i see a.i generated images replicating his or similar artists styles.

Leyendecker is a great one to study. I think he is more popular in the designer circles than anywhere else. One group of designers that really liked him were the designers of Team Fortress Two. I've just recently discovered you, and all youvideos have been good for students who need to develop their artist's eye. After all, you draw with your eye. Great evaluation!
    No mention of Arrow Collars?

These are so great, Luis! Came from the Cornwell video to this one. As a traditional painter, I hope you do more vids on illustrators in the future. Subbed.

Definitely one of the greats! Where did you get so high of a resolution of his paintings?

Yeah, he's awesome. I'm pretty sure I got the images from Pinterest. And I just checked the resolution. They're all 72dpi so they're actually really low resolution. They just look high resolution because of how clear some of them are. Whoever the photographer was, did a great job.

Great video and Layendecker is amazing but sadly I feel like he's not talked about enough when it comes to art history, well at least not where I am, in uk... :/

Because he's an Illustrator, many people with...well, let's say, less art inclusive mindsets will simply ignore him.
