You should do a "tour" of your stock at the beginning of a release. I'd be interested in seeing how much soap gets made for each release.
Large emails are sent out in batches because of server limitations. If you have ever heard of a DDoS attack on a website, it just means someone is sending the website (or really the server the website is hosted on) so many requests that the server can't handle it and it shuts down. If you sent out 10,000 emails all at once you would shut down your own email hosting server. Or something like that. Someone explained that to me once to apologies to the real tech people if I got something wrong. But I believe my core idea of sending them all out at once would effectively shut down the email service is correct.
Also if some email provider gets a large mass of emails incoming from the same place they may be flagged as spam
I do get my monthly emails fairly late; why not send them out 2 hours ahead of time? You're not spoiling anything! lol

Tech person reporting for duty; that's roughly correct! The server is struggling to keep up.
Just a minor distinction between DDoS and what's happening here:
Distributed Denial of Service attacks are when lots of different people make requests to one server at the same time and it can't keep up with responding to everyone. Imagine a single cashier trying to serve 1000 people at the same time.
The issue that Katie is seeing is probably that the server she's using to send the emails can't go fast enough for how many emails she has in her list. It's more like a really stressed out person sitting in a room, individually addressing mail trying to get through a huge list as fast as they can.
Both super stressed out people trying to go fast, one has 1000 tasks to work on at the same time (DDoS), one is trying to work on a list of a 1000 tasks one at a time (Katie's overloaded email server).

I just got married las spring, and when choosing the colors of our house I told my husband I wanted my house to make me as happy as being out in the Forest does. So now I’m decorating for the seasons because spring and autumn are my favorite times of the year and I’m a summer girl, so I want my home to reflect the seasons. This may be coming out of nowhere, but have you considered making seasonal scented shampoo and conditioner bars? I'd love to see a pumpkin spice or peppermint or even a gingerbread scented option.
When I had my own apartment, my bedroom was sea themed, my bathroom was Christmas year around and my living room, mainly Autumn but I also had several fiber optic Christmas trees up year around. I am my Pap's granddaughter. He loved Christmas.
I bought my very first soap from Royalty Soaps today!!! Yaaayyy!! I actually ended up buying the 'peasant soap' version of the circus cookie one simply because I love the whole idea of 'peasant soap' and think it's awesome you make those available to purchase. I honestly had the *best* time buying the soap, it was like a small little 'Black Friday' rushing to figure out which one I wanted and buy it before it got sold out (by the time my order was processed one of the other soaps was already sold out!).

I started my small business about a year ago (it has nothing to do with soap, but it is a handmade business), and I just gotta say - GO YOU!! My family has a ceramic fall village that we set up every year, along with a garland and some decorative pumpkins. Fall is by far my favorite season!
My mom loves to decorate for Christmas. Every year she takes all her decor down, right down to pictures on the wall, and puts up Christmas stuff. She has boxes and boxes of Christmas stuff and her whole house changes into a christmassy wonderland.
I truly appreciate when you speak about the pure business side of soap (shipping, payment, etc) because it’s so hard to research all of that information by yourself and you just hand it out so clearly and relatable. Katie- I've had the worst month of my life. I was a direct care worker, and witnessed my client have a respiratory arrest on the 21st. (She passed away in the 23rd surrounded by her children) my birthday was the very next day in the 24th, because of her passing I lost my job and finally found another job, just yesterday. Today a family friend passed away, who was my age. But logging on to CZcams and seeing that you uploaded a new video made me feel so full of cheer and happiness. I truly don't think you understand the influence you have over your audience. You make people so happy, and you give us such a positive experience with every video. To some people you may just be a humble soap maker, but to us you're such a safe place. We love you

I finally landed a job the other day, my family friend isn't in any sort of pain anymore, and my client was able to pass away peacefully surrounded by her children. And babies are born every second, miracles are happening constantly, love is being found and dreams are being answered. Everything will be okay :)
oh my word ... bought our first soaps and it was a crazy ride! By the time I typed in my credit card info 3 of the items in my cart were sold out! You weren't kidding when you say they sell fast. Good for you to have created such a great marketing plan and selling out each month so quickly! I'm trying to buy from small businesses like yours for Christmas this year and gonna set my alarm for December launch too.

I decorate for EVERY holiday INSIDE and OUT!!! With lights and everything.
January still has Christmas decor till mid month then I take that down and put valentine's all of Feb. In March St. Patrick's till 3rd week, then Fiesta for 3 weeks. Next come Easter for April. May has Cinco de Mayo and Memorial day. June is summer decor. 4th of July stays up for Labor day until September. Halloween for Oct, Thanksgiving for November and Christmas for December, really last week of November until 2ndish week of January. Then start all over it's exhausting but wouldn't trade it. I want my kids and grandchildren to remember that of me, always trying to make great memories for them.
I love changing price of decor for the seasons! My fireplace mantle is the main spot to change out pictures and accessories.

I don't always decorate seasonally but when I feel like it I do, and this year is one of those years! when you're in the mood for it, it's so much fun! I'm excited to put up my more wintery things soon although I'll be a tiny bit sad to see my fall things go, I love all the oranges and reds!

I absolutely LOVE decorating for different holidays or seasons. We typically have a few decorations that are rotating, but then we just add stuff based on the season
1. Yes, I decorate for the seasons and holidays. My mom did, too, and it was great to visit the Easter stuff at Easter, the Halloween stuff, the Christmas stuff, autumn and summer decor... I don't necessarily decorate every room and switch up paintings and all that, but I do have a lot of bins in the basement for decor. :) 2. YES! Pumpkin loaf is delicious. 3. I also go to your website every launch and just watch as things sell out (can't purchase due to allergies) and I smile and think that I am so proud of you and your business and I am so happy for your well-deserved success. Decorating season starts in late summer with sunflowers and pumpkins. I’ll layer in a spooky tablescape for Halloween and do a turkey and pumpkin scene for thanksgiving. Then put all that away for Christmas. My colors are frosty white and silver with some aqua touches. After Christmas, I’ll leave the snowflake and winter stuff up until spring. Then I put pink touches and table decor. In June, the pink becomes aqua.... Phew it sounds like more work than it is :) I recommend labeled bins or boxes for your studio decor. Then on first of month pull out the right box and switch out!

That soap is so fricken cute. A couple of years ago for my family’s and my boyfriend’s family’s Thanksgiving , I made a homemade pumpkin roll cake with scratch cream cheese frosting. It was the most complex cake I’ve ever made. But it was special, the recipe was from my grandmothers cookbook. And it was the most delicious cake I’ve ever had.

my ASL 2 teacher in high school absolutely LOVED my class since we actually cared about learning so she would spoil us with food ALL THE TIME, and one of my favorite foods she brought for us was homemade pumpkin cream cheese bread!
I used to decorate for every single holiday and now it’s primarily just Christmas! I love everything pumpkin. I unfortunately never had anything pumpkin (except pumpkin seeds) until I was in my 20’s and was at my in-laws. My parents and grandparents always had pecan and apple pie at the holidays. So surprise to me to find out how amazing pumpkin was!

At my parents house we have our "regular" decoration and we add seasonal decorations. our favourites are easter and christmas. we have some standard items and favourites that just NEED to be there.
I'm away for university and my tiny one room apartment doesnt have much place for decoration. Sometimes my mom will bring me my favourite seasonal piece tho. I have started adding some lights and stuff that works all year around, for that extra coziness and to beat seasonal depression
We buy most of our lights and cute decorations after the holiday is over cuz they have crazy discounts. especially on christmas lights. its awesome.

I always decorate for the holidays/ seasons. I do both adding decor and taking stuff down and replacing, but I do reuse the same decor pieces each year, occasionally I add new stuff just because for certain holidays I only have a sparse amount of decor items, so I'm just building my collection 😊 Love this soap Katie so cute!
I don’t switch out pictures or big stuff. I do simple seasonal decorations. A yard flag. Maybe another yard decoration. A seasonal wreath on the door. Seasonal candles and my side board with small seasonal stuff! Love this soap!

We definitely decorate for the seasons. We even keep the Christmas tree up past New Years (bc we’re lazy lol) and decorate it for Valentine’s Day. Sometimes the tree stays up until St. Patrick’s and Easter and we decorate it accordingly. 😅😅

I like to add a little sprinkle of seasonal without going all out. I add seasonal styling pieces to my bookshelves, switch out the wreath on my door (currently a cute autumnal one with sunflowers, pine cones, and an owl), and switch out the table cloth on my dining table. But I will say I have more Christmas and autumn decor than any other seasons, with Christmas definitely winning. Especially if you count Christmas tree ornaments. On a side note, I’m hoping to make a DIY Chronicles of Narnia book nook with the lamp post in the snow to add to my bookshelf and I found my little lamp post in the Christmas village section of Michael’s today and got so excited! Now I just need my box, my fake snow, some paint, and some fake snow-covered trees!
I do like to decorate my house more for the holidays and I guess it reflects the seasons as well. I don't change the family pictures, they stay were they are. As for the question of the day, I have never had a pumpkin loaf or pumpkin roll....but they both sound good. I would like to try both one day.

Halloween and christmas are the big holidays I decorate for. I also put up some small things for Valentines day and Easter. We also just add to whatever everyday decor we have. But I have a friend whose Mom redoes their entire house decor for every single holiday and season.
The end product reminds me of German Christmas markets! The dark brown and the green/orange/white colour palette is just 👌👌
I don't go all out for seasonal decor but there are a few pieces I like to put out just because they make me smile. NGL I've had a Christmas bell on my backdoor for years now just cause I like the sound of it.
I've been watching the channel for a bit and I've actually never bought something from a CZcams channel, but I'm actually really looking forward to my order! I was so shocked when the soap I wanted wasn't sold out and I cannot wait to try out a shampoo bar for the first time!
Her soaps are phenomenal! I actually have 2 in my shower right now lol. They’re great to use after you shave or if you use a scrub. If she still has shampoo bars in stock I want to try them.
My parents house is already decorated in sunflowers and other floral basket my dad made for my mom when he worked as a designer putting together fake potted flowers. The flowers go with every seasons because of their colors, very neutral and very pretty. There are like 6 big baskets of assorted flowers scattered around the house. Plus my mom buys floral paintings to give the white walls color as well.
I have stuff to decorate my house seasonally, but I rarely put much out because the time I spend putting it out I could be cleaning or organizing everyday stuff that is already backlogged. Christmas usually gets something, having a tree and stockings make the room festive even if its all I do.
I remember being at my friends house for Halloween and we woke up to the house completely switched over to Thanksgiving. Mom was on top of it.

I just unmolded my first batch of cold processed soap! I watched the Royal Creative Academy and decided to just give it a shot! I used Apple Pecan fragrance, and made it look like an apple pie with fork texturing on top and layers for the pie shell! Thank you for being a source of joy and inspiration and I look forward to continuing!
Yes we decorate every season !! And then in between for birthdays, and everyone’s birthday decor has to stay up at least a week. The pumpkin dessert I’ve never had but sounds good 🤔

Now we have added real red oak, and golden aspen leaves (all brushed with layers lacquer) to seal in the colors. After Thanksgiving it will become our angel tree. January, is snowmen. February, all things Valentines. March, shamrocks. April, snow flakes and snow boots (it is still winter here), with the occasional Easter egg hiding in the branches. May, faux flowers, watering cans and umbrellas. June, more flowers, leis and flip flops. July, patriotic. August, still patriotic but added flowers. September, I start adding in lacquered fall leaves, removing flowers. October starts with all things spooky. Table cloths are also seasonal. Door hangers and other banners hung up or taken down with the season. All wall decorations (photos, painting and the like) stay put.
Pumpkin bread started last week. Brioche and other butter and egg rich breads started today. Pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese filling will be on the week of Thanksgiving. All pumpkins were baked over Thursday and Friday.
Pumpkin scones are my jam. I make them every fall.

I have everything halloween/fall theme year round because fall is my FAVORITE season. Oranges and reds are my favorite colors, lol.
When I was still living at my parents house I would do a large arrangement of silk flowers for each season.

I helped the neighbors dig up their potatoes and got to take some home. My boyfriend made the teeny potatoes into an amazing breakfast-for-lunch.
Question #1: I only decorate for Halloween and Winter Holidays because to me personally they're the prettiest. =3
Question #2: I LOVE PUMPKIN ROLL CAKES. But I don't know anyone that makes them, and the ones at Giant are crap. I always get the ones in the Korean bakeries near me. But I also love pumpkin muffins, pumpkin bread, pumpkin coffee, pumpkin hot chocolate, pumpkin soup, pumpkin pasta sauce...OOOHHHHHH Fun culture note. There's a ~*Peruvian*~ pumpkin dish called Locro, and it's made with pumpkin and shrimp. I definitely recommend it. =D So the point is I love pumpkin. XD
