I haven't studied jubilant fundamentals. Since I travel a lot, I observed Domino's taste is changing from store to store and their pizza quality has also decreased.
If they don't work on these things, they'll lose their hard earned market share. Btw great analysis. 👍
To be honest , new management is sacrificing with quality of the pizza. Reduced the quantity of chesse . Launched some new flavours where spicy is more and sweetness of cheese is lost and even prices on higher side and counter sales person try to convince for these newly launched pizzas . Completely downgraded.

Actually the survival of business depends on the Repeat customer.
The Dominos Outlets have reduced the quality of pizza which they used to serve earlier.
You rightly said that the company is struggling from the Margin problem due to the inflation and increasing Milk prices.
The problem solution which the company has found is to put less cheese or some other material similar to cheese (low quality)
Due to which the Taste is now not that good which used to be 2 -3 years before. I am sharing my observation as a keen customer .
This has decreased the resale business. Although there are many people for whom Taste matters are ordering with Extra Or Double Cheese burst which is a way to pull more money from customer pocket.
I observed the taste difference too . Their desserts are now having a waxy feel . Sure their change in quality of ingredients going to heavily backfire them which I believe is already started

The major reason why Domino's Pizza is having huge losses is because they are not doing partnership with Zomato and swiggy still relying on their own delivery boy
There delivery is much better than swiggy and zomato. Although when ordered by swiggy and zomato they deliberately delay the delivery

Losses are there because swiggy and zomata customers have a variety of foods to eat in today's time customers cannot eat everyday one dish

And many restaurants sell better pizza in less price although restaurant in town make bread not pizza 😂
Actually partnership with Zomato and Swiggy will kill profit of any restaurant as they take 24% to 32% of gross sales as their commission. So if Dominos deliver a bill of 1000 via Swiggy/zomato, the Domino will recieve only 680-760 Rs out of that
honest channel. he don't promote any gambling and betting apps
One major reason could be the rise of local brands. In Ahmedabad and other cities of Gujarat, local brands like la pinoz, la milano etc are rising. People are now preferring local brands over Domino.
La pinoz is a shit show in north
They are not able to maintain their quality
It was my go to brand for 2 years but now its done
I was an employee of JFL, trust me JFL is JFL because of Ajay Sir, he is still worshipped in Domino's

The actual reason for the share price going down of companies like Dominos Pizza, Burger King, etc. is that food-making businesses can easily be copied by any ordinary shop for less than 1/2 the price. Most Indians are smart enough to get the same taste for much less. Pizza is not a preferred fast food in India plus the urban class who does consume it, does so in moderation because of health reasons. I see a bleak future for such companies. I could give many other reasons.

@@reconquistahinduism346 Most local fast food sellers do a much better service with their taste and pricing, unless Dominos competes with them (which is impossible) they will not succeed. Overall Pizza is just 1 of the hundreds of options available as the daily / weekly, fast food snack.

@@SuperDry_ locals have tiger share of market. Most young people after getting free post 6 or 7 pm , reach the local stores as they are approachable, tasty and economically convenient. Going to Malls and separate Domino's pizza counters is more of a weekend thing. It involves only special situations like friends and siblings coming to your home. Local pizza stalls are a part and parcel of daily metropolitan life.
I think the reason why Domino's is not doing well is because
1 the cost of pizza has increased tremendously in last 5-8 years
2 due to Swiggy and Zomato there are many more delivery options for food and much cheaper options are available.
India is a price sensitive country. Domino's is a luxury food for most of the Indian population
3 Domino's is like a occasional or weekend meal. There are other delivery options where fast food per person will cost an average of 200 Domino's will cost average 500 minimum
I believe these reasons will restrict Domino's growth prospects
Dominos earlier growth was because they had very little competition apart from Pizza Hut.
And their delivery strength made them a virtual monopoly for quick food delivery.
Now we have Zomato, Swiggy bringing all types of food at home. Plus you can find Pizza shops at every nook and corner now and since Domino's quality too has decreased. Their quality and taste is no longer the deciding factor.

Important point missed : Many Indian companies and foreign companies are coming every year hence Dominance of Dominoz's is decreasing , Like Pizza Hut, La Milano , William Jones, La Pinos , Sam's, and many more local brands , further they price of pizza also matters , the costliest is Domino
Dominos pricing is actually on a higher side ... And now you get better pizzas from cloud kitchen pizzeria from Zomato and swiggy

But pizza hut base is soft
No nowhere close, Domino's taste changed it's not like before theres not enough sauce now feels dry

The main reason behind this is the competition from different outlets like Rominous ,Oven story and local vendors too .Their pizza is on level of Dominos but their price is much less than Dominos .
In Rajasthan theirs a alternative of Domino's which name is rominos which prices are cheaper and good than Domino's

The main point competition is been increased now there pizza restaurants. And, so many franchises outlets giving quality pizza.

The sad fact is that I invested in Jubilant in 2021 and now I'm 40% down 😢
I'm a student
Dominos Pizaa was and still is the best pizza compared to other pizza outlets. The only difference now is the business model has changed with online delivery which is resulting is reduced foot fall in their stores. If they somehow crack this issue by reducing physical stores as they did with Dunkin donuts or some other strategy the growth is sustainable. Expansion is also the key in Tier2/3 cities as well.
As an investor I think JBFW market is already saturated, too much competition from brands like KFC, Burger King, Zomato etc plus the Inflation isnt under control and this is hampering the profit margins significantly.
I would offload half of my stake if the current share price crosses my average buying share price the remaining after it has provided atleast 10% profit
Even the quality of pizza has gone down significantly. Some of the items such as Margherita pizza is so dry, that I will put it in dare to eat category.
They need to be a lot more innovative to revive.
