Performed as an encore (slightly shortened) by Svet Stoyanov live - circa 2012. Snare Drum = Pearl 6ply Maple 5x14 Drum Head = Remo Renaissance Sticks = VicFirth
Very fine drumming. When some one plays a composition so clean and accurate you must compliment . I compliment Svet Stoyanov for his talent . Keep this kind of drumming coming many drummers dream of technique like this.
Svet is one of the best percussionist I have ever heard in my life (and I have heard pleanty). He did a great job with this piece, but I think it would have been cool to see him play it on a marching snare ;)
Pretty good with solid dynamics. The backsticking section was very rough though; it looks like you're punching the snare. Backsticking should look almost like traditional (key word "almost") and should have more of an angled attack; the butt of the stick won't be flat against the head, it'll be at an angle (45ish degrees). It makes for a smoother visual. You do look pretty tense during this, but this also looks like you just played a recital, so I can't blame you! Good solo.
love the dynamics, they really make the piece complete
Great Dynamics, nuances, and musicality on this piece.

I love the fact that you used a dampener to help bring out the articulation. Is also helped highlight the dynamics. Great job!!
just O M G. What a brilliant performance!
