They're only saving and quitting cus they cannot play for too long. Effectively you could just keep your game running and play after a day or two, it's equivalent. Sure you might argue it's not vanilla, but it's effectively vanilla as they didn't gain any advantage in gameplays
@@j3fr0uk They took one break at 2.7k quota lol, and then streamed constantly until they hit 12k quota. It's as impressive as a vanilla run, I can't imagine anyone going for high quota would disagree.

Crouch strat on nutcrackers is 100% consistent, your buddy just did it wrong.
Don't stay crouched, stand up when he's trying to aim at you and crouch back down, that way he aims at your standing height even when you start crouching, if you remain crouched while he aims, he can just aim down at you.
So basically hit him once while standing upright, crouch, hit him twice, stand up, crouch again, hit him twice, done.
This way he can't walk while aiming as you kill him within the first 2 hits and he can't use his rage mode as he's reloading while he's on 1 hp and you just finish him before he's done reloading.
With your normal strat, I had it happen that they can just decide to walk into you after shooting you twice ever since that buff, so crouch strat is easily more consistent.
I don't stand up and it still works for me, it looked like he was too far back
Also I just back up when they're reloading and go back in front of them when they finish

I did see him aim downwards before, so I would always play it safe and stand up for a second to make him aim straight.
Either way, you shouldn't need to back up when he reloads, on his first reload you should kill him already if you didn't make any mistakes.
But yes, if you made some mistake and you have to kill him a bit slower, then backing up should be done so he doesn't walk into you.
@@ardynizunia9709 They walk when reloading if you are too close. It's an anti-cheese mechanism put in place to try and stop the crouch strat, but it just means you have to back up a bit when he reloads.

No, they can walk at you while aiming and reloading in general after they have shot at the same player two times.
Then they can walk at THAT SPECIFIC PLAYER. With the method I described, you will still have them dead every time before that happens, as you will do your final swing just after his second shots, as he starts up his reload but before he gets to walk.
Getting you a fully loaded shotgun every time.
my team could NEVER be this coordinated. They walk into rooms with turrets and announce theres a turret before deciding to run away
Spamming the sealed door at 2:20 to show where it was and then the perfectly timed door sealing without a word between you and the ship was beautiful. Guides always say "just seal them in" but it's nice to see how to practically execute that.
1:12 is that what it means when [scanForItems] shows up when you hit scan, it means Nutcracker is in there? I always thought it was a mod messing something up

Yep! Means a shotgun is outside the ship (not necessarily a nut if a player brought a shotgun out of ship)

Absolutely insane run. I have to say, though, the mental challenge of the pure vanilla 18 hour runs is part of the run, to me, so my heart tells me not to count it lmao. Very impressive, regardless.

I’ll work on a looting guide, but it’s hard to explain because it’s all scenario based and 600 hours of gameplay change my decision making in every scenario.

That means there is a shotgun outside of the ship, usually because a nutcracker has spawned. It can also happen from one of your teammates bringing a shotgun out of the ship too though.
They should have friendly competitions with who can get the most loot on the same seeded runs

definitely not the Teleporter Negativeweight exploit that ruins the game
What is that last one? I don't think the crouch strat is really even much of an exploit since it's clear why it works, nutcrackers can't aim vertically. Inverting the jetpack is a bit more cheesy but it just makes using it less annoying. The stairtrapping thing is on the edge for me, but it's almost exclusively used to trap coilheads and they're the most unbalanced enemy in the game so it makes sense to me. The negative weight thing sounds super broken though
@@kingacrisiusIf you pick up an item the frame you teleport, you can trick the game into thinking your weight + the weight of the item is your default weight. Therefore, when you let the item go, it subtracts the item’s weight from your “default” weight.
So instead of weighing 0 pounds, picking up a 60 pound item, then dropping it and returning to 0, you lift the item up to weigh 60 pounds, teleport the same frame, the game resets your weight to 0 while holding the item. So when you drop it, you weigh -60 pounds, and get the speed boost from it. Which for heavy items like cash registers, is a LOT of speed. It lasts until you’re teleported again or die, too.
You don't even need to teleport to gain negative weight, running a macro that spams G while holding items give the same result as well

Whenever you type "scan" in the terminal its suppose to show the amount of scrap left within the facility. In this case it failed to do because an "item" spawned in not previously there bugging the whole system. It usually means a nutcraker spawned in
It's a bug where the terminal shows "[scanForItems]" instead of the number of items / value when you scan if there's a shotgun inside.

A little bit of cheating with scanning through walls and doors but still great skill
while this is impressive, you still used mods while another previous world record holder did it without mods. So I think it should be counted as quote record with mods and not just a regular quote record.
