Two things are commonly misunderstood in this episode. 1 - Zoro didn't take only pain, but real fatigue damage (repeated deformation damage, like when you break a piece of wire by bending or hammering it several times). That damage can destroy tissue, bone, etc. In the manga, just that small damage portion Zoro took first already made him bleed. 2 - After taking all that fatigue damage, Zoro was in a much worse condition than Luffy not simply because of the damage amount, but because Luffy is made of rubber which is highly resistant to deformation, while Zoro is not.
One piece is like fine wine. I’m caught up with the anime and manga but everytime i come back to these scenes they only get better and better, I seriously can’t explain it 😂

Zoro is far from being OK, he has taken more than any of the other straw hats could have taken - except for Luffy of course. But he did it for the crew and always will, there is no hesitation in him. Actually Kuma knowing about Dragon and his relation to Luffy is a surprise, since Garp tought us on Water 7 (ep 314) that Dragons true identity is not commonly known. (Or rather was since he spoiled it to the world himself)
"Nothing happened" is still one of the best scenes in One Piece, and veteran fans love to troll new fans/reactors by telling them that nothing happens in Thriller Bark. ;) And that scene is also one of the top reasons One Piece fans have so much respect for Zoro. I love that even despite all misunderstanding we all had a good laugh about the "Nothing happened" situation. However, it would be great if it doesn't happen again. There is a moment in anime which made me show so many emotions and I wanted to see a reactioner watching it for the first time but I didn't get what I wanted because people in his comments kept joking about it as well and eventually he figured what was going to happen in further episodes. He also didn't have any doubt because if only one person said it they could've made it all up but since everyone kept saying this joke it just spoiled a great moment
