That second guy really working hard to be a mime
Funny that you explained thoroughly how to make the guy walk properly, then apparently added a second one and forgot to make him move... :D
lol I was wondering how quickly someone would notice that. I accidentally slid the keyframes across before rendering and I didn't have time to fix him. Poor bloke is stuck in the snow.
@@DECODEDVFX Yeah, very slippery road there...
That black ice will get you every time. As that feller was on his way back from a pub he probably didn't even realise he wasn't moving forward until his wife found him. 😆
@@WaterShowsProd it happens to the best of us.
@@DECODEDVFX It's exactly how a Skyrim NPC would walk! :D
I always enjoy watching your process. Laptop looks awesome too.
To make your character walk you can also select the root bone's forward axis in the graph editor and then shift+e -> linear extrapolation. That way it'll move forward forever at it's native speed. Then you only haft to select all bones and all curves (except forward on the root bone), shift+e -> make cyclic
No matter what you use, you're just that good.
Thank you, but good hardware definitely helps.
I really like the idea of the dial, and how the pen can be used both on the screen and the touchpad. Really cool.
Amazing. Watching your movies shows me that I am still sitting in a dark deep blender knowledge cave....
I'm more of a desktop PC user, but I have to admit, that laptop looks pretty nice. I have often thought about getting one, and that would definitely be something I would consider.
That's pretty awesome! However, the guy on the left, on the other side of the river is probably slipping on some ice there. Terribly slipping! :D
Me trying to creating this scene in my laptop with no GPU
Laptop be like :- are you serious 🤨?
Need an upgrade from my 1070 laptop, could you put in a word for me to Asus..
Yeah but can you do it on a smart fridge? I'm sure you can!
If I can find one that'll run Blender.
@@DECODEDVFXBlender might be tricky, but there is almost certainly one running Doom, so you'll just have do to ot in the Doom map editor.
"Creating an Epic Fantasy Scene - On a Laptop???"
with an i9 and a rtx4070, how is this even a question? youre better than catching viewers this way...
When I first started planning this video I actually didn't know if the laptop would be able to handle the scene. I've had mixed experiences with laptops in the past. The performance of the ProArt was definitely a pleasant surprise.
And I'm sure it costs a few thousand dollars (or whatever the equivalent is in British Pounds, or Euros). I probably shouldn't watch videos showcasing some cool tech I can't ever hope to purchase ;-)
It's a great laptop but as a professional, I really need more VRAM than 8GB. Disappointing that they don't offer this laptop with a RTX4080 or RTX3500.
Wait a second, I jst realized your Blender says you have 24GB of VRAM? 🤔
Yeah, some people will possible need more RAM depending on what they create. I used to record every second of the creation process but that sometimes left me with 100 hours of footage to sift through while editing. I now go back and re-create the recording process while I'm editing to demo different techniques, which is why Blender says I have 24GB of video RAM.
@@DECODEDVFX ah I See 👍
antimicrobial technology. smh.
I just ordered a Black Friday laptop with an i9, GTX 4080, 16GB RAM for a very good price. I'm going to start learning Blender, which I've never touched, to animate some scenes for a show I'm doing next year. I look forward to digging through your content.
